Dutch courses for primary, secondary or university students

Hello, I am a 22 year old student who has always been in a Dutch-speaking school system. My family is of Flemish but French-speaking origin so I have always played with both at home. Thanks to this it is very easy for me to initiate Dutch with simple and structured explanations while adapting to the student's level. My goal is to teach the student Dutch in a fun way, because contrary to its reputation, Dutch is a beautiful and fun language when you know it. You or your children will appreciate the patience and motivation I have when it comes to initiation.

The most important thing for me is that we have fun while learning – that makes everything a lot more fun! In the lessons I am happy to help you with your questions about Dutch grammar and we can work together on your speaking, writing and/or listening skills. Do you have homework that you need help with? That is of course also possible! Let me know what level you are at now and what you would like to learn. I would love to challenge you, but make sure it is always fun and that you don't have too much at once. The prices stated are for a lesson for 1 person.

Each class is tailored to the individual's requirements and/or needs. Want to improve career opportunities; learn or improve business Dutch, which will be the focus of each class. For those already are familiar with Dutch; expanding existing knowledge together with a deeper cultural understanding and insight. All students will be provided lesson schedules in advance for their review (time permitting). I provide lessons for the Nt2 Staatsexamen and Dutch Nationalization exam (Inburgeringexamen)and Business Dutch for ex-pats and people who want to learn everyday Dutch. In the citizenship exam course, students learn about history, geography and basic vocabulary which are the contents of the exam. They learn how to respond to basic questions. Besides preparatory lessons for (Inburgeringexamen ,citizenship exam ,I teach Business Dutch) to expats. Online lessons are delivered through Google meet and Ms Teams and other online platforms. The lessons are conducted online as well as at a location in The Hague Both private and group lessons are available. I take pride in saying that all my students who I prepared for Dutch exams passed their exams with high scores :)

Hello! I’m Mahmood and I currently live in Gouda (South-Holland). I came to The Netherlands some time ago. As an Expat I know how tough it is to learn a new language, especially the Dutch language with its tough pronunciations and sentence structures. Being an Expat I understand much better what the challenges are that other Expats needs to go through to learn Dutch I am specialized in preparing Expats and other immigrants for the Basic Civil Integration Examination (Basisexamen Inburgering). I can also teach about the Dutch social culture and History of The Netherlands. Also I teach Dutch till A2 level or to the people who like to learn Dutch as a hobby. What can I teach you? : - Read and Write in Dutch - Sound like a Native Speaker - Participate in Basic Conversations and Use Daily Phrases - Understand and Pick Up on Basic Conversations My method of teaching: i) Starting discussion At the start, we will discuss your level and objectives. This way I can efficiently give you the help that you need. ii) Open communication I have an open way of teaching in which I encourage students to keep telling me what their difficulties are or where they would like to improve. In my experience, this saves a lot of time and also makes the lessons more fun. iii) Simplify instead of complicate I am good at listening and understanding why students are having difficulties with certain issues. The thing in which I’m best is explaining complicated things in a simple way.

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
