Trusted teacher: I offer my services (lessons, internships, training, coaching) to drummers of all levels, all musical styles and all geographic areas The first contact consists above all in discussing the desires and the desired axes of progression. For people wishing to opt for the classic format courses: Different packages with sliding scale tariffs are offered. For people wishing to go further: Intensive training / internship with pedagogy and personalized coaching, in order to give a big boost in technique, music theory (optional), but also on other aspects of the modern musician (home studio, stage ...). This is for any motivated and available drummer, at least 17 years old, wishing / wishing to improve or even professionalize, to become intermittent (e) or teacher of drums, to integrate one or more semi-professional or professional groups, to be versatile or to excel in their favorite style (s) ... For people wishing to learn at their own pace, without any scheduling constraints: System of distance learning videos (which can be accompanied by scores), relating specific themes at the request of the pupil (can possibly replace lessons or be complementary to them) For people who have not yet decided to get started on this instrument: Discovery course over several hours or even several sessions, in order to discover the world of drums (For more details on all these formats, contact me) In all cases, I adapt to each student on: - the form: I am flexible and can use alternatives to music theory for those who are resistant to it (for example, by making a video of the summary of what was seen, by re-explaining orally and by re-performing the exercises on the drums)) - the background: I always adapt to the wishes of the student if he knows what he wants The most important thing for me is to make things seemingly complicated -> simple to understand and to execute, while making sure that I direct the student in the direction he wants to take, and that he takes fun to learn The goal is to regularly cover pieces of music in order to put the things learned in a purely musical context. Regardless of the course chosen, I accept all means of payment, as well as CESUs. The latter is very interesting for the employer (yourself) because it will allow him to benefit either from a tax reduction, or from a tax credit if it is not taxable (50% of the amount courses in the year deducted from taxes or credited in taxes the following year)

Trusted teacher: [ENGLISH BELOW] I offer private lessons, adapted to the needs and experiences of each person to find your voice as an artist. Graduated in lyrical singing (New Zealand School of Music), I also have a background as an artist-author (pop/rock) and singer of traditional Scottish and folk music. The music begins as soon as the song is performed; you don't have to wait until you reach a specific level! This is why we work on interpretation directly in my classes, always linked to pedagogy to develop the right vocal techniques to protect and boost your voice. We begin each class with warm-up exercises, muscle activation and body relaxation, as well as educational exercises adapted to your needs. Then we work on one or more songs. I encourage experienced adults to come in with their voice already warmed up, but it's not at all necessary if that's not possible for you! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * I offer vocal coaching in English or French, adapted to your needs as an artist. My teaching is based on pedagogy studied at the New Zealand School of Music (Bachelor of Music and Postgraduate Diploma in Classical Voice), and I have experience singing and teaching in pop/rock styles, as well as folk and Scottish Trad. I believe that the music starts as soon as we start really interpreting the song, and not once we've reached a certain level. This means that we'll also approach a song with musicality, of course with pedagogy informing a good technique to protect your voice, and enable it to do what you want it to do, musically! Each lesson or coaching session starts with exercises to warm up your voice, as well as relaxing and engaging the muscles in your body to help support your sound. We then will work on the songs themselves! Adults with experience are warmly encouraged to arrive already warmed up and ready to go, but we often lead busy lives, and it's no problem if this isn't possible.

Trusted teacher: Lovers of rhythm, song and percussion of the world, you are at the right address! The world of rhythm and drums from around the world attracts you... you are a novice or want to improve your skills, you are looking for workshops in private lessons or in groups,... Welcome! Multi-percussionist on stage and in the studio, teachers and performers for twenty years, I offer introductory or advanced modules to percussion from around the world, for adults, teenagers and children and whatever your level. (individual, group and internship courses) The educational objective makes it a point of honor to explore general notions, developmental points and instrumental techniques, depending on the chosen instrument, the cultural context associated with it and your feelings. My approach is to allow you to establish an intimate contact with your own dynamics of play, by listening and reproduction, by opening the channels of the sensitive, to find and make vibrate the musicality that is in you and to transmit this direct experience , in condition of interpretation. Percussion lessons always involve several instruments and levels: For all levels: congas, bongos, bata drums, cajon, bendir and tär (frame drums), djembe, dundun, drums and minor percussion (accessories: shaker, triangle, karkabou... And also for novices & intermediates: Indian tablas Point essentially addressed for a musical and psycho-sensory immersion work: the roles of rhythmic instruments in contemporary, ethnic and scholarly music, and the metrics of each musical current. the strokes specific to each instrument and a playful rhythmic solfeggio (visualization, learning and interpretation of rhythmic sequences by writing and / or voicing) the poly-rythmie around current musics and world music (African, Caribbean, Indian and oriental traditions): simultaneous combination of rhythmic cells, sometimes of different size, to form a rich, well-rounded and harmonious phrase. groove and inner pulsation (or inner partition) guided improvisation and discovery of one's own interpretive fiber. orchestration or arrangement of instrument families in an orchestra. the song and the breath, the setting in voice and in space of the rhythm, to refine the sensory language of an adequate dynamic gesture. I provide on request personal work media (CDs, scores, videos). Apart from stage music, I also work for live shows (storytelling, theater, circus, pantomime, contemporary dance ...), documentary film and audio-visual. I frequently intervene in musical awakening for early and middle childhood (maternity hospitals, schools, leisure centers) and also in specialized settings (day hospitals, IME) and at home, as part of mediation actions in art. therapy. Hoping to share with you my passion for teaching and the melody of rhythm. Stéphane Musically !

Raef
Superb experience with Raef. I asked for his help to prepare a math assessment test with an enormous lack of basis but he accepted the challenge. I found out a nice teacher who is not afraid of explaining and repeating if necessary. I did enjoy his method with the whiteboard, it feels like you are in the same place and can interact on the same exercise. Either in English or french he will certainly be able to help you. He is super kind and flexible, I definitively recommend his services.
