I have been playing the violin for 20 years and am a fully qualified classroom music teacher in the UK. With my strong pedagogical background and understanding of what makes a good music lesson, I come not just with my knowledge and skills as a musician but also my knowledge and skills as a teacher. I have experience of teaching the ABRSM syllabus and Trinity College London Classical syllabus, and am able to support you in preparing for graded exams or simply learning for fun! Each lesson will incorporate music theory, technical knowledge and performance skills in an engaging and relaxed environment. We can focus on exam pieces if a graded exam is your goal, or we can choose pieces from any genre that takes your interest to build up your technical and performance skills. I love taking suggestions from my students and these are always welcome! I am able to offer music theory lessons in addition to violin lessons. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
