Sound is a word with a broad meaning. In these classes we will focus on listening sessions and sound composition/improvisation. At first, we will exercise the art of listening (natural and artificial/man made sounds). Later on we will try to make sound compositions and improvisations manually and on computer programs (optional). Listening is a powerful tool for daily awareness. Listening to your surrounding, means being aware of other things and entities that exist around you, which adds on to a deeper understanding of oneself and one’s environment. Through a selection of music, sounds and a series of exercises, I will guide you through a journey of listening to yourself and your surrounding.

Voice lessons are an amazing way to strengthen your voice and broaden your range. Lessons are offered for all types of musical styles including jazz, classical, and pop. In these lessons we will cover vocal technique, song performance, leading a band, sight reading, music theory, and other aspects of performing and singing. Taught in English by a Native English speaker the student with receive English diction lessons along with singing. The basic technique is guaranteed, but the teacher will work with the student on the specific goals and topics the students want to focus on.

That's the unique class that delves into the harmonious intersection of voice expression and physiological awareness. Explore the art of listening to other, connecting mind and body. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...).
