I'm a multi-instrumentalist singer, songwriter and performer and I offer applied classes on writing/arranging/producing pieces of music using various instruments of your choice, including your computer. I use a 'learning by creating' method, where we focus and go deeper on certain aspects depending on your needs on your music creation process. I like to use personalised methods that matches your desires, rather than following a certain curriculum. The goal is to help you gain or improve awareness on how a piece of music is written and learn various ways to begin and finalise a writing process. During our practices, I will naturally be transferring my knowledge on certain aspects such as: - Rhythm - Form - Dynamics - Texture - Melody making - Singing - Guitar playing - Placing words into music/making music around words - Improvisation as a compositional tool - Integration of Ableton Live into creative process - Recording - Mixing During the sessions, we'll either write together from scratch or work on your own material and tackle the issues of constructing a piece of music. I offer lessons on Piano with personalized lessons for each student according to the goals and the music the student wants to play. We will work on several topics as recognition of the instrument, technique, reading, repertoire, harmony, ear training and composition among other topics. The lessons are in English or in Spanish by the moment. I will reply gladly any questions you have. My method is based on each student in particular. It doesn't matter your leveI, I enjoy teaching to people who have a commitment with music and art. The main topics we'll work on are: Recognizing piano, technique, sound, ear training, transcribing, harmony and harmony applied to the instrument, and reading and studying the instrument through the music you like and choose.
