This course will provide a framework of the Italian language. I will adapt this class to the level of each one of you. By the end of the course all of you will have improved your Italian language skills. I promise you that it will be so much fun! Most people need to revise the basics of language over and over again in order to master it, and having a good knowledge of how the language works at its core, i.e. its grammar, will help improve one's language skills drastically. I think the best way of learning a language is by familiarizing yourself with it. I therefore like to conduct my lessons mainly in the target language. Moreover, I will tailor my lesson to the students' needs, a language has 4 core parts (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), and each of us has different strong points and weaknesses when it comes to expressing ourselves in a second language. I will ways try to keep a relaxed learning environment where the student feels comfortable learning and making mistakes.

Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you travel back and forth by train every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Memorise the timetable. 2) Realise that the train comes every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in textbooks and in normal lessons, the first approach is used - in the course I am offering you, it is the second approach because it is more economical and faster. Learning is easy, but unlearning things that have become bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. Albanian as a language is very distinguishable as it has its own branch in the Indo-Europian language tree. It is an ancient language transferred from the Illyrians who lived in the Balkan peninsula. As it is my native language, I have always helped and tutored people who are ethnically Albanian but have been raised outside of Kosovo or Albania and do not have a complete understanding of their mother tongue.
