I have been playing piano for most of my life, exploring everything from jazz and classical to modern styles. I hold a Master’s degree in Jazz Piano from the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK) and a Bachelor’s degree from the Gustav Mahler Private University for Music in Klagenfurt, Austria. LEARNING BY HEART Learn to play/sing favorite songs: - Depending on your ability, we simplify (or enrich) the accompaniment and improve it in a fluid manner - I'll show you various "hacks" and shortcuts - you don't have to do anything "right", you can follow the fun. - play/practice without pressure, how does that work...? You can make it easier for yourself! How much time you invest stays with you. :-) - any style possible, as long as it makes sense for you technically - Singing: easy! Write your own songs: - I give you different "glasses", "rails" through which you come up with new ideas, both for the music as well as the lyrics and singing - "writers block" - from the head back to the heart using simple techniques - learn to use the hidden treasure trove of ideas in your body (subconscious)! - and most importantly: have fun with “bad” songs! generally: - you will find clear goals for each hour (e.g. record a song or parts of it,...), for the next few weeks and for the next months - we record as much as possible because it is the best exercise (and the most exciting ;-) and you have something "in your hands" that is satisfying in itself, no matter how "perfect" it is (everything is perfect How clean is up to you ;-). - I'll help you promote the joy of sharing your music ("I can give something!") - and above all: learn to feel what really makes you happy. This course is for the interested piano beginner or anyone who wants to learn more about music theory and sheet music. I myself enjoyed five years of jazz piano lessons at the music school and training as an audio designer. In recent years I have focused a lot on music production and music theory. I'm happy for you!

I have four years experience teaching voice, to both adults and children. Lessons can be orientated towards a specific goal, or simply to expand the limits of what you are capable of. My teaching follows a classical vocal technique, and we will also talk about interpretation, in terms of musicality, style and language. I have a strong musically academic background, so teach theory, either attached to vocal lessons, or separately.

In my experience over the past few years as a piano teacher to students of all levels and ages, I have found that people learn so much more when they are able to express themselves and have a fun time from the very first lesson. For this reason I focus on teaching piano and music through the lens of jazz, which allows for so much freedom as well as being really educational in all different styles of music. In my classes you will learn how music really works in a relevant way by studying music that you yourself enjoy listening to and would like to create, and practice dynamically using tools like backing tracks which make it feel like there is a band in the room with you! I also produce electronic/funk/neo soul music for my solo project and as a session musician. If learning music production interests you, I can also help you with that! This course is intended for piano enthusiasts, curious and slightly advanced pianists. The goal is to learn a basic understanding and feeling for playing the piano in order to ultimately be able to master simple to moderately difficult pieces without problems. I myself already enjoyed a twelve-year classical education at the music school and therefore have a comprehensive understanding of my instrument and the associated music theory. In past years I also played percussion instruments such as drums and am currently practicing playing the violin. I'm happy for you!

Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run.
