Hello, my name is Zina, I graduated with a Master's degree in Literary Studies from the University of Bordeaux Montaigne (25 years old) and I offer private lessons in ancient languages (Latin and Ancient Greek). The courses will focus on understanding how the language works from a grammatical point of view, as well as on translating and analyzing literary and philosophical texts in their original language. The aim is to prepare students for competitive exams (such as the agrégation or ENS entrance exams), other exams (such as the baccalaureate), or simply to broaden their personal knowledge. Indeed, my three years of preparatory literary classes specializing in Classical Literature (hypokhâgne-khâgne-khûbe) rewarded by a double admission to the ENS Ulm competition as well as my 6 months in Argentina as a French language assistant at the university allowed me to acquire skills in various disciplines, teaching methods as well as fluency in foreign languages, and above all a high level of grammatical rigor. I have been giving private lessons for 4 years now, to students ranging from CM2 to Master's level; this diversity of profiles has allowed me to develop teaching and supervision methods adapted to the needs and paces of each individual! For more information, feel free to contact me!

° Student having obtained his literary bac, as well as a history license (first year of master in history in progress), I offer an initiation to Greek lessons. This course offers to learn the dead language that is ancient Greek, but also to discover the culture attached to this dead language. ° I myself give the worksheets, and offer to lend books on the history of Greek civilization, or a manual on ancient Greek. ° This course allows you to broaden your knowledge. It is not intended for certain people in particular, but may prove useful for all those who are heading towards history, or who after Latin would like to learn more about ancient civilizations.

I base my lessons on the "gaps" of my students, learning by "heart" no longer works nowadays and book reading is neglected, so you have to find ways to interest a student. And finally, the writing. Nowadays, knowing how to write becomes a plus because fewer and fewer people manage to write with a minimum of mistakes. Writing correctly will make the student stand out and make them interesting in the eyes of markers. Ancient languages are still very important today with many French coming from Latin or Greek. Mastering ancient languages makes it easier to learn French grammar and understand complicated words.
