Turkish learning like never experienced before! No details left unexplained! Grammar in its complete sense! Merhaba! This is a certified mother-tongue teacher of the Turkish language and culture from Bursa. I have been working with numerous language schools in Turkey, in Europe, and in global platforms since 2011. I completed a program for teaching Turkish as a foreign language at Marmara University in Istanbul. I am also the Turkish language delegate for Directors Languages based in the UK, and a member of the Turkish team for Innovative Language Learning headquartered in Japan. I have built an exclusive method for Turkish teaching, being a self-language-learner myself. The lessons are adjustable for any kind of journalistic, touristic, romantic, gastronomic, linguistic, scientific, artistic, religious, historical, cultural, or commercial purposes; any level from hello to Ottoman poetry; background of any other language, way of learning, means of learning in person or via the Internet, and age. My spectrum of students expands from children to CEOs. I prefer proceeding with a constructive and conversational methodology for proper comprehension and confident learning of the Turkish language in the smoothest structure possible. That way, learners will have the freedom to make their own sentences once they are comfortable with the fundamental grammar and logic of the language, as well as the relevant vocabulary. I also enjoy making comparisons between world languages, clarifying to learners the origins of words, similarities in grammar, and contrasts in concepts. I spend great attention to the needs, motivation, and interests of learners so that I can pave the best order of topics, and choose the necessary glossary in a sufficient amount. I guide them to clear their previous confusion about Turkish with simple and logical explanations. I also help them to realize that they are making stable progress and that the things they learn are essential and part of the everyday, living language. I accumulated quite a rich resource of materials both written and audio-visual, including the prominent textbooks in the market, and a collection of various hardcopy and online varieties. Role-play dramatizations of real-life situations comprise an important part of classes. After each lesson, I provide learners with various supportive documents and exercises, as well as audio and visual practices if possible. When necessary, I can produce new material according to the exact needs and interests of my students. I also recommend them external sources to familiarize themselves with the language in their free time like popular songs and TV shows according to their personal tendencies. Overall, I am trying my best for their experience of learning Turkish to be efficient and fun, including related cultural explanations. Instructions can be in English, Italian, and Japanese. If you are interested, contact me kindly. I hope that we can discover this beautiful language and culture together! Trusted teacher: Hi, I am Hatice from Istanbul. I HAVE BEEN TEACHİNG ONLINE AND FACE TO FACE FOR 25 YEARS. I am a native speaker of Turkish and was born in Istanbul. I have been teaching Turkish to foreigners and I have taught hundreds of students from all ages and professions for more than 20 years. I am a professional English teacher but I like teaching Turkish more as it is my mother tongue and it is a great pleasure for me to share its secrets and beauty. While teaching I also love giving some useful information about the culture, people, cuisine, films and literature in Turkey to help you get connected to Turkish culture. I prepare written and verbal dialogues in the areas the student is interested in. I am from Istanbul but I traveled almost all cities, mountains, rivers, lakes in Turkey. I am a person who likes less traveled roads and back streets. Traveling around the world and reading on the areas of spirituality, philosophy, psychology, and literature are my number one hobbies. I lived and worked in London, Toronto, and S. Korea. Living as an expat and learning several languages have helped me having sympathy with my students. Motivation, feeling relaxed and setting realistic targets, in the beginning, are usually the first thing to go. As for my formal education, I studied Economics, International Relations, Western Philosophy, and American language and literature at the university (MA and BA). And after my 40 years old, I learned classical Arabic and Persian and started to study Islamic spirituality at the doctorate level. I taught English at Prep. school at Istanbul Technical University and Yeditepe University and am retired. Ever since I could remember I have been a teacher. Now I only teach Turkish privately and translate classical novels from English to Turkish. I translated 12 books from English to Turkish. I teach Turkish that is tailored for each student. Each student is unique for me and I know that every student has her/his own way of learning. If you are a beginner I give a short lecture about the history of Turkish and its characteristics and help you find your way in this very logical, consistent and elegant language. You understand that Turkish is different but that does not necessarily mean difficulty. From the first lesson, you start speaking Turkish and find yourself in a dialogue. I can teach at my place and your place (all around Istanbul). I use several books using a grammar-based approach integrated with communicative methods to boost the development of all language skills. But we always focus on TALK, TALK, TALK. As a language learner for many years, I know one can learn, improve and take pleasure in a foreign language only by talking and communicating. It is essential to get direct pleasure from what you have learned. My aim is to motivate and inspire you to speak Turkish ignoring minor mistakes and without thinking grammar. I try to keep in contact with my students almost every day through whatsapp and email. And start some short dialogues.

Talk and Understand Turkish easily and well with Başak who is Experienced and Patient Teacher (Online or In-Person Lessons) (Maltepe)
Başak
I am following a class with Başak to learn turkish. The lessons are held in english. This course covers pronunciation, grammar and free speaking which are also adapted to daily life situations as well as speaking about yourself. I have experienced a very well organized and structured teacher on a professional basis. The teacher gives clear instructions, pays attention to the pronunciation and corrects you when needed, which is crucial for the turkish pronunciation. The course fees contain the tuition as booked and course material as the class is accompanied by a book (workbook and exercise book) and audio files. The books are sent to you in advance, makes it very convenient to take a print out or as a digital version on your tablet/PC/phone. Between the lessons homework will be assigned and checked by her via mail and discussed in the next lesson. So far, I am very happy with the lessons and I am also confident that I will improve my turkish steadily in the future with her. Thanks

LEARNING TURKISH IS EASY AND FUN WITH A PROFESSIONAL TEACHER (Maltepe)
Hatice
We’ve had two in-person sessions with Hatice so far and they have been excellent. Her classes are engaging and accessible to students of different levels. In a class, she is very skilled at offering depth for someone who has some turkish understanding as well as being accessible to a beginner. I hope to continue a mix of online and in person lessons with her!

Turkish Speaking lessons/ speaking / learn by living (Aziziye)
Lina
I spent a week with Lina ”learning by living”. We toured Ankara, went to museums, bookstores, bazars, hung out at Lina and Batu's cafe, cooked together, went to Lina's yoga class, etc. And everything we did, at least as long as my brain wasn't exploding from language overload, was accompanied by language instruction. It was absolutely fantastic!
