Singing Lessons: ABOUT Voice / Singing Lessons are spaces for one to come into a deeper, more informed and confident relationship with singing and voice use, offering an enriching and transformative space to explore and develop as a singer. What we might explore: -Coming into an awareness of fundamental vocal anatomy : Developing awareness of the voice, its structures and its functionality as well as its relationship to the body and its systems. -Identifying one’s own ‘Attractor State’: Coming to understand as an individual the habitual tendencies of one's own voice use and the potentials and limitations of those malleable tendencies. -Becoming equipped with practical and effective tools to promote ease, resonance and efficiency while singing: Harnessing the tools of Alexander Technique and neuroscientific application to becoming empowered in practices that release tension and allow for more easeful and skillful singing. -Working Stylistically With Repertoire: in styles inc. folk, jazz, pop, soul/r&b, light opera/legit, music theater or text. This can also include becoming adept in harmonizing and exploring different theories of music. -Becoming equipped with tools for anxiety/stage fright . An offering of tools that allow the hormonal, nervous and musculo-skeletal systems to regulate during times of high stress or anxiety with using voice in a public setting. VOICE Voice / Art of Speaking workshops are spaces for individuals to develop skills in voice use and public speaking. Workshops are catered to the desired outcome and can suit proffessional or developing actors, space holders/facilitators or public speakers of any kind. Classes offer a safe, enriching and transformative space to explore and develop as voice users. WHAT WE MIGHT EXPLORE -Coming into an awareness of fundamental vocal anatomy A brief introduction to the anatomical functionality of the voice, its structures as well as its relationship to the body and its systems. -Developing resonance Harnessing the tools of Alexander Technique and neuroscientific application to promote the resonance of voice in the body. This has to do with the tone/volume of the voice. -Practicing Articulation Coming into relationship with practicing efficient articulation. This has to do with clarity/ being understood. -Becoming equipped with tools for anxiety/stage fright . An offering of tools that allow the hormonal, nervous and musculo-skeletal system to regulate during times of high stress or anxiety with using voice in a public setting. -Identifying one’s own ‘Attractor State’ Coming to understand as an individual the habitual tendencies of one's own voice use, of which are influenced by varying factors e.g. dialect/accent, health, gender etc.

Trusted teacher: Salut! :) I am a French and English native speaker, currently studying DigitaI Business in Berlin. I also speak German, Spanish, and am learning Norwegian. I believe the best way to learn a language is to speak it, therefore our lessons will be focused on conversation, personally adjusted to your level and your ambitions! What I like to do is to have themed lessons: We will choose a topic together and I will give you a small exercice to prepare. In the lesson we will then chat about the chosen theme, have some activities, games and go over the exercice you prepared. I have taught myself Spanish and German, so I know first-hand what the difficulties of learning a language can be and how to find the correct solutions to reach your objectives. That's why I also take good care in creating an environment where it is ok to make mistakes, and where we always understand each other. A bit more about me : I grew up in France and went to school in Monaco, where I studied in both French and English. After getting my high school diploma, I worked as a private English teacher for a year, giving classes to young and not so young French students. I then moved to Berlin for Bachelor studies. I am a very curious person, so I have a multitude of different interests, and in general love to talk and learn about everything.

My interests include : music, sports, literature, filmmaking, business (in particular sustainability), psychology, among many others. I am excited to accompany you in the beautiful language journey you have ahead! :)

Are you new to yoga? Or would you like to have someone in addition to online yoga who pays attention to your alignment in the various yoga positions? Perhaps you also notice that in one position or the other one area of the body hurts and you don't quite know how to vary the posture? My goal is to enable you to have a yoga practice that is characterized by a functional approach (as opposed to a purely aesthetic approach that only looks at the external form). For a healthy practice that should give you a better understanding and awareness of your body. Overall, my classes are very keen to pick you up where you are. Accordingly, beginners are also very welcome! 🙂 Some information about me: Thanks to my mother, I started practicing Iyengar Yoga as a teenager and there I experienced firsthand how beneficial yoga can be. And not only on a physical, but also on a mental level. Accordingly, I realized early on that yoga pursues a holistic approach: always understanding body and mind in interaction with one another and not as separate from one another. In a society that is shaped by dualism, I find this approach very valuable and empowering to counteract the experiences of alienation that we are often exposed to due to external norms. All the more so to come back into contact with ourselves. That was over 12 years ago. I later tried different styles of yoga for myself, only to end up with a functional approach, which I also teach today. I always see myself as a student who is always learning. I really enjoy dealing with bodies and movements and learning more about them. I am also a budding physiotherapist. In my yoga training I focused on a clear alignment in the positions and also got to know therapeutic elements of yoga. In the meantime, I have completed many advanced training courses in various areas. These include YinYoga, HormonYoga, Therapeutic Yoga, Yoga & Somatics, Yoga & Depression, Yoga Anatomy, Yoga for the shoulder and neck area, Creative Sequences & Drills.
