I enjoy teaching anyone who wants to play the double bass: whether you are just starting out or want to further develop on this magnificent instrument. Making music is central to my lessons and other aspects are also discussed from there: ensemble playing, technique (pizzicato and/or arco), ear training, theory. Because the double bass is a versatile instrument in so many musical styles, we can also approach this one. I like to share my great passion for all kinds of music. Curious? Hello everyone! I am Emanuel, a professional bassplayer based in Brussels. I Graduated with a Master diploma in Jazz Double bass in 2020 & I am currently finishing a Master diploma in teaching music. I have 8 years of experience teaching both privately and in schools. I teach both electric and acoustic bass and I am open and interested in all genres of music. My lessons are open to students of all ages and all levels. I am open to teach anyone who wants to explore the bass and share the beauty of music. In the lessons we can explore all kinds of music and all kinds of areas of playing. How to play basslines, improve your technique, how to improvise solo's, improve time-feel, eartraining,... All these elements can be combined to make you a better musician. My method of teaching is different for every student. It's very important for me to know a student and to know what he/she wants to achieve in order to create a specific program for them. Last but not least, my idea as a teacher is to create a friendly environment. Having fun is the most important thing in order to learn in a natural and effective way! Learn to play acoustic or/and electric guitar for very beginners to intermediate and advanced players! Improve your skills and knowledge on the Instrument as well as developing musicality and ways of playing. This course is intended to give to the student the tools to be able to play in a specific genre and improvise. We will discuss the goals and the direction that the student would like to follow and make an individual program each student. Areas that will be covered in this course: -Rhythm guitar/comping: Chords, rhythms, styles, groove. -Guitar technique: Scales, arpeggios, chord shapes, picking techniques, other techniques. -Improvisation/creativity: Guitar solo, play over changes of a song, ways and techniques for improvisation. (possibility of digging into composition) -Repertoire Learn tunes from music sheet and by heart. Be able to perform a small repertoire.

I offer sounds coming from the bell of the trumpet. This instrument does not really know everyone..It could introduce you to a big world of colors of sounds, and styles. If you are interested in discovering this instrument do not hesitate to contact me. We can make music together !!

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

I have been teaching piano for over 20 years now. I trained at the Royal College of Music after winning a junior scholarship, where I spent 8 years studying piano, cello, music theory and choral music. My aim is for my students to enjoy the rewards and challenges of learning by making lessons fun and accessible. Each lesson is tailored to the individual needs of my students. I teach ABRSM grades and all styles of music from complete beginner to advanced level.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
