I am a violinist with vast experience as a guest professor at various prestigious conservatoires including Royal Irish Academy and Geneva Conservatory. I teach all levels. I teach in English and French. Top Honours Graduate of the Royal Academy of Music London.

Face-to-face classes. Classes will take place at the student's residence. There are three modules: theory, exercise and practical application. I am a lawyer and musician in Brazil. I'm in Dublin to study and improve my English, so I decided to be a music teacher to earn extra money and gain experience with the language. I've been a musician since I was 9 years old. At the age of 16 I started playing in the Church band and giving guitar and piano lessons. I believe it's never too late to pick up a new hobby.

At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. I will give all my best so everybody will get the tools for developing their own voice, helping them to master the instrument and teaching them all the theoretical knowledge they’ll need to make their particular personality shine. Openness, joy, dedication, creativity and passion for music are some of the things that you will find in the international environment of my studio. I care about who my students are and what they have to say to the world, and I will help them to develop it from the very first lesson. In my class you will not only be able to receive piano lessons but also will learn to understand how the music works as a language. If the interest and the profile of the student goes in the direction of the purely classical music performance, the lessons will be focused on a deep and conscious piano technique development, practicing techniques, musical interpretation, history of music, history of the piano, applied harmony on the keyboard, analysis, and score reading by a method that I have developed for over 15 years of experience. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth. Singing lessons are not only an opportunity to learn singing and something new about music but also an opportunity to express emotions, forget about everyday worries, and have fun! Through music theory lessons you can learn about the structure of music and also develop some very useful music skills such as reading music (sight-singing or sight-reading). All students who have a specific goal in mind, but also all who do not have any specific goal in mind and want to sing or learn theory just for fun, are very welcome! Different options for lessons that I am offering are described below and all of them can be modified and adjusted according to the wishes and needs of the student: SINGING LESSONS FOR CHILDREN (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*) Singing lessons for children is basically an integrated method that combines singing with solfeggio, developing basic music theory skills. It consists of playing musical games and singing children's songs and those developing intonation, musical hearing, musical memory, sense for pulse and rhythm, all with attention to healthy singing. SINGING LESSONS FOR TEENAGERS AND ADULTS (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*) During singing lessons, we will be searching for a deeper meaning of the story and different ways of interpretation, with attention to healthy singing techniques, pronunciation, and style. The lessons consist of breathing exercises, and vocal warm-up exercises with a specific technical goal and work on the desired repertoire - meaning of the words and story, vocal technique, pronunciation, interpretation, and style. My specialization is in classical singing but I don’t mind working on other genres in my classes. SIGHT SINGING LESSONS (individual or group lessons) Intense course where you will be learning how to read music at sight. The lessons consist of sight singing only, beginning from the easiest level and gradually learning how to read more and more difficult music. You will develop skills needed for sight singing as well as a certain way of thinking appropriate for sight singing. (There is no technique of singing or interpretation involved in these lessons.) SOLFEGGIO LESSONS (individual or group lessons, for children from 8 years old, teenagers, and adults) In these lessons, you will learn how to bring written music to life (sight-singing), how to discover and put on paper the music you hear (musical dictation), and how to build scales, intervals, and chords. This knowledge is needed and examined in every conservatoire and music academy. For some conservatoires and academies, this is an obligatory pre-requirement and elimination factor on entrance exams. It is an inevitable part of every professional music education. MUSIC THEORY LESSONS (individual lessons) Music theory lessons can include, if desired: solfeggio, harmony, counterpoint, music form, analysis, and/or other music theory-related subjects. For each subject, we can make a special program, depending on the wishes and needs of the student. COMBINED SOLFEGGIO AND SINGING LESSONS Combined solfeggio and singing lessons are also possible for adults, as separate subjects or integrated with singing lessons. In both cases, the duration of each lesson is 90 minutes and the program is discussed and created based on the wishes and needs of the student. (A combination of individual singing lessons and a group solfeggio lesson is also possible.*) AUDITION TRAINING AND PREPARATION FOR EXAMS (individual lessons) Preparation for auditions concerning singing and/or music theory includes preparation for entrance exams, regular exams on conservatories, or preparation for ABRSM exams. *Please, contact me for more information about group lessons. Hello everyone! My musical journey began when I was just four years old, starting with the piano. Later, at the age of seven, I eagerly embraced the violin, adding its enchanting melodies to my repertoire. I achieved a professional mid-grade in both piano and violin. Fueled by my love for music, I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Codarts University of Arts. Under the guidance of teachers like Natasha Morozova and Hed Yaron Meyerson, I refined my skills and nurtured my artistic vision. After completing my Bachelor's studies, I continued my musical exploration in Codarts' Master's program. Alongside my classical training, I've always been intrigued by the therapeutic potential of music. In 2023, I earned certification in Music Therapy, expanding my horizons and deepening my connection to the healing power of music. In collaboration with my colleagues, I am member of the Olga Trio. Our mission is to highlight the works of women composers throughout history. Our debut performance at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras was a proud moment, affirming our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music. Beyond classical music, I've always been drawn to exploring different genres and styles. As a member of the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023, I relished the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds, pushing the boundaries of traditional musical conventions. In every note I play and every project I undertake, my passion for music shines through. It's a journey of exploration, growth, and discovery, and I'm excited to continue sharing my love for music with the world. I've been teaching during the last 8 years.
