I've been teaching cello to children, teenagers and adults for 8 years, so I've acquired the necessary experience to be able to adapt to the different and personal needs and objectives of each student. My teaching methodology focuses on creating a friendly and relaxed environment (which does not mean undemanding!) in which students feel confident to express their own ideas and worries. In my lessons I focus on technical and postural questions, but we also reflect together on the music, as I like my students to develop their own musical ideas and not just imitate the teacher. I am a Belgian harpist (°1992) graduated from the conservatory of Antwerp, where I also followed the Alexander Technique. I gained experience in teaching at Art Academy De Poel (Ghent), Einstein Atheneum (Oostakker) and through private lessons. I like to pay a lot of attention to a good, relaxed posture and technique. This prevents complaints in the long term and also benefits a beautiful sound. Passionate pupils and students of all levels are welcome to explore the instrument, repertoire and music in general together. Improvisation and playing music by ear can also be part of the lesson if interested.

Modular synthesis is the place to be when it comes to new electronic music technologies. The cool thing about working with eurorack (modular synthesis) is that you can build your own electronic music system as you go. In this series of lessons you will learn the ins and outs of a number of essential Eurorack modules, VCOs, VCFs, VCAs, etc., and you will get started with them. You don't have to pay anything at all, because VCV rack, a software program, is free.

Hello! My name is Pablo and I am a professional cellist. In my 20+ years playing the cello I have been lucky to build an international career as a solo and orchestral musician in places like Bremen (Germany), Sweden (Göteborg), Spain (Malaga), and Belgium (Gent). I have 4+ years worth of experience teaching online/in person, in multiple countries, as well as a C1 Cambridge certificate of English. I also have a B1 level of Nederlands. I have music articles published as well. My philosophy of teaching is to teach my students in a comprehensive way how to use their body 100% efficiently. I will teach them how to play in the most natural way, getting rid of tensions and fears in the process. I will tackle this as cello technique, but I will also work on being expresive and how to make the cello sing. Thank you for your time.

I've spent my whole live practicing and playing cello and I can assure it's one of the most marvelous things one can do. Even if you struggle! I can teach either beginners or amateurs who want to get better at it, or higher level students who want to perfect their craft. I base myself on the teachings received from my teachers during all my years of study, in which I have always been especially interested in the importance of the figure of the teacher for the healthy development of students. I adapt to the technical and musical needs of each student, even if we start from 0, without prior musical knowledge. We will work on every aspect of cello playing: Both hands' technique, posture, musical expression... Musical theory, solfège, harmony, etc. are also possible!

My name is Irene, I started my career as a cellist in the south of Spain, between Andalusia and Murcia, where I did my bachelor's degree in cello performance. Later I moved to Belgium to continue my studies, where I studied the Master in Classical Music (cello performance) at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. I have been teaching cello for 8 years both in Spanish and English to all ages and levels, combining my teaching activity with the interpretative improvement of my instrument. I have collaborated with numerous national orchestras and I have received master classes from great cellists at an international level. In Belgium, I currently collaborate with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Flanders and the Chamber Orchestra of Flanders, among others. My name is María, I am 25 years old and I am a professional cellist who graduated in Spain two years ago. Now I am doing a Master in Classical Music at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. For so many years I have been teaching music in different forms and ages (in already private schools): To people who wanted to get started in the musical language or start playing an instrument, to people who wanted to learn a score. or develop their musical tools, to people who wanted to continue growing as a musician and training their listening and people who wanted to improve their musical theoretical knowledge. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand.
