I offer private tutoring (for high school and/or university-level students) so you can understand the fundamental concept and excel in your studies. I have teaching experience of 4+ years in Physics and Mathematics to high school and university-level students. This class aims to provide an overview of calculus and focuses on the fundamental mathematical tools and concepts such as limits, differentiation, and integration. Building on these basic concepts, we will review methods for solving problems related to their applications. Note that this course will be tailored to your specific needs and we could mainly focus on the topics you are struggling with. Furthermore, please feel free to contact me and suggest any other topics you would like me to cover and teach. Outline of the course: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.1 Limits of functions 1.2 Evaluate the limits using L'hospital's rule (for 0/0, ∞/∞) 1.3 Continuity, types of discontinuities, intermediate value theorem ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.4 Introduction to differentiation (or derivative) 1.5 Tangent line to a curve, slope, instantaneous velocity 1.6 Rules and theorems for differentiation: power rule, product rule, chain rule 1.7 Derivatives of exp, log, and trigonometric functions 1.8 Implicit function and implicit differentiation 1.9 Derivative of inverse functions 1.10 Second and higher-order derivatives 1.11 Application of derivatives 1.12Geometrical interpretation of the derivative of a function 1.13 Rolle's theorem, mean value theorem, critical point, maximum/minimum of a function 1.14 First and second derivative tests, inflection points ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.15 Anti-derivative, indefinite integral 1.16 Techniques of integration: integration by substitution, integration by parts 1.17 Definite integral and its application (area between curves, application in physics) 1.18 Area as a definite integral 1.19 Areas between two curves and many more... *Note that the sessions will be held online (via Skype/Zoom/Microsoft Teams).

I am a data analyst with a strong passion for data and machine learning. I have a strong statistical background. During my academic experience I delve deep in the world of statistics and probability. I have programming skills in particular using R and python. After my university career I worked as a data analyst for 3 years, teaching in basic and advance machine learning courses, so I already have experience in teaching. I am very friendly and very patient with people. Join me in this data and statistics journey, during which I will try to transfer my passion for data in rìthe easiest and funniest way possible!

Carli
Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics Tutoring for Highschool students
As a second year medical student, I have an abundance of experience with learning mathematics and sciences. I took all three sciences and maths in my IBDP Diploma. Now, I am continuing to extensively develop my science and maths knowledge in my medicine course. Maths and sciences are very interesting and important subjects, but can be quite challenging to learn independently. My tutoring is focussed on providing clear, structured, organised and engaging lessons to help with any confusion. I tailor my lessons to the students needs and encourage them to be active in their own learning through means of practice questions. I am someone who is kind, attentive, motivated and hard-working and these attributes come across in my tutoring sessions. As a recent IB graduate with a score of 44/45 (All 7's in the Sciences and Maths), I know how to master the content of the IB diploma in a smart way. Since the IB diploma covers a very universal curriculum and my knowledge of sciences/maths is solid, I can also help in tutoring of other systems.

Mathematics: Calculus, Algebra, Abstract Algebra, Geometry, Analysis, Probability and Statistics
Hello, I am a mathematics masters student specializing in algebra, geometry and number theory. I have graduated from the university of Groningen with a bachelor in mathematics. As such, I've spent a great deal of time studying mathematics at a higher level and have become acquainted with a broad range of mathematical disciplines such as algebra, geometry, analysis, calculus, probability, optimization and more, this of-course includes any high school mathematics. During my studies I working as a teaching assistant whenever possible so I have some experience teaching. In mathematics there are often many ways to come to the same conclusion and it varies from person to person what they consider easiest to understand. As such I try to get to know the student first and figure out how they may learn best. Personally, I rely a lot on intuition and deep understanding of concepts and so i try to convey to students the most essential and fundamental ideas before moving on, as well as, giving them interpretations of what is happening so that they may becomes easier to imagine and more tangible. In solving any problem, I think it is important to first sit back and understand what is going on before embarking on any calculation or proofs. In a typical class I would first survey what the student already knows and discuss the concepts with them making sure they understand them very well then we would move on to discussing examples and non-examples (this would take most of the class). Finally we would solve problems together discussing them as we go along. This of course can vary from student to student, their level and time available.

Private lessons in Math - Physics - Chemistry and SVT
Experienced professor graduated from the Faculty. of Sciences and the Fac. of Medicine of France, gives private lessons in Mathematics - Analysis - Matrices - Statistics - Algebra - Physics - Chemistry - Biology of French, Quebec CEGEP or International programs (in English) to students of secondary classes, Terminales, Brevet Concours and classes university preparatory courses for the 2022/2023 academic year. So that I can help students who take CNED and those who prepare for the SAT exams. The lessons will take place either at home or online using a specific, very modernized method, a shared interactive board equipped with writing tools where I can, with the student, write and correct homework by exposing them directly, in addition to Zoom or Skype to communicate (very practical method like at home). Results of my Terminale students since 2015: mentions Very good, Good and Excellent. Contact me for more details.

Private online mathematics lessons - Qualified and experienced teacher
I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years. The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies. I have a perfect knowledge of the mathematics program of the College and the High School (from the Sixth to the Terminale). During my formative years, I studied and developed many techniques that make it easier to learn math. The strength of my pedagogical approach lies in my ability to explain in a simple way everything that the student finds complicated. I am passionate about this job because it gives me the opportunity to guide dropout students on the path to success. It is a real pleasure to see them evolve and come to terms with the fantastic world of mathematics. I provide my private lessons in Limoges (at the student's home) or remotely (online via the internet). My distance learning courses take place on an interactive online whiteboard. This board is specially designed to promote student/teacher interaction on the internet. Thanks to this educational tool, my online courses are as effective as home courses. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to take advantage of it.
