For people wanting to use french in everyday situations, I propose the communicative approach, focus on communication rather than grammar structures. This approach takes the focus off the language by stressing the content. The idea is to communicate fluently. (If you were to learn how to repair a bicycle, for example, you would learn bike vocab then would then be able to communicate in French by using the relevant vocabulary and conveying their feelings, ideas and thoughts.) For students wanting to learn French in a more literate approach, I propose analytic lectures of French classics, or any desired text. This can help for more elaborate grammatical structures and thorough vocabulary. In addition to strengthening a more distinctive way of expression, you'll enhance your French culture

I specialise in tutoring French and/or English for school just as well for higher education levels or different age groups. As a native speaker in both languages and as a linguaphile who took interest in learning other languages such as Spanish and Arabic, I am aware of the struggles that might come with attempting to learn a new language. For my students, I would start off by evaluating where they are at in terms of their level of speaking just as well as writing, in order to know what to work on and what they've already mastered. I would provide homework, just as well as challenges to place them in real life situations where they would have to use their skills and knowledge. In addition to this, providing a feedback on what they've accomplished, what needs further improvement and work.

I tutor Mathematics at GCSE, A-level, BSc and MSc level. A bit about me and why I would love to be your tutor in mathematics! I am currently pursuing my PhD in Artificial Intelligence at University College London, where my research focuses on applying AI to enhance energy efficiency in the built environment. Prior to my doctoral studies, I earned a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics from Warwick University. I also completed an MSc in Statistics and an MSc in Applied Biotechnology and Biosciences, both from Imperial College London, with Merit. My other academic achievements include A* A* A grades in Further Mathematics, Mathematics, and Biology A-Levels, along with 12 A* grades at GCSE in various subjects, including FSMQ Mathematics, and OCR Additional Mathematics. I also achieved a Merit in Advanced Extension Award Mathematics (AEA). In terms of tutoring, I have some experience tutoring GCSE Sciences and Mathematics, as well as A-level Biology and A-level Mathematics. Currently, I am in the process of becoming a Postgraduate teaching assistant at UCL. As part of this training, I actively teach several lectures and workshops each week in mathematics and computer science at MSc and BSc levels. Math classes are available for all student's up to GCSE level. Science: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics are some of the most difficult subjects at GCSE level. There are classes for Combined Science and Triple Science available and are recommended for anybody preparing for GCSE Science exams. The classes are often based off of specific needs and are perfect for filling in gaps in knowledge. Science classes are available for any student preparing for their GCSE's. Additionally, we will do lots of past papers, especially if you want to prepare for a specific examination. We are going to keep track of your level and mark your improvements session by session. During our sessions, we can focus on different areas of Maths according to your needs, from Algebra and Calculus to Statistics and Probability. Additionally, we can work on exam taking techniques such as Time Management and how to practice effectively for an exam.
