I am currently a doctoral student at the University of Debrecen. I am very much willing to mentor prospective students in the field of academic writing. As a professor for twelve years in a major Philippine university in Manila, I specialize in the area of research, particularly qualitative research. I also edited theses and dissertations of graduate students for many years. As a researcher and writer in the field of the Social Sciences, I already published two Scopus-indexed articles in a Q2 journal (another is currently under peer review in a Q1 journal) and a chapter in an edited book. I also wrote and edited a coffee table book for a Manila-based fashion designer. Given my experience in the field and a passion for teaching, it would be a pleasure to coach students who would like to publish in a reputable journal publication or to learn the rudiments of academic writing in any of the following topics: Essentials of research writing Writing a research plan Academic writing strategies Plagiarism and APA citation Academic essays Rhetorical devices

English is an important language to learn. You can use it to converse and have business with other people. I can make it easier and fun to learn. I can give English lessons online or give private lessons in your location so that you can be comfortable. We can take it slowly and make sure that at the end of classes you have learned a lot.
