FL studio is a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) that has been one of the most used software in the professional field as well as for pure hobbyists for years. For me, Daniël, it led to graduating from the Herman Brood Academy as a Pop/HipHop producer in 2015, as well as winning the Grote Prijs van Rotterdam in 2021. In the meantime, I have done (co)productions for artists including Topnotch (Universal), and my most recent tracks have been heard on BBC1Xtra Radio, for example. With my lessons I would like to help you from the basics in your development as a music producer. All lessons are tailor-made and practice-oriented, with the necessary theory being applied on site when this is essential. I know from experience that this is the best way to learn in combination with many repetitions of such actions. It is not only effective, but also very fun! My name is Davide and my music experience started when I was 10 years old during my middle school in Italy. I started playing cello and I kept on studying classical music for 8 years, performing as a soloist and in many orchestras and ensembles. In the meanwhile, I started being interested in electronic music and composition for soundtracks. When I turned 17 I realized that music would have been my passion and my job. I graduated in “Contemporary Writing and Production” at Pescara Conservatory in Italy. During these studies, I dove deeper into Pop and Experimental Electronic Music, orchestration, and orchestral composition. I also had the opportunity to play in different bands and discover different genres such as Post Rock, Progressive Metal, and Heavy Metal. After my bachelor's degree, I finished my studies following a Master's program at Codarts (Rotterdam) in Creative Production. During those two years, I had the opportunity to collaborate with many people and explore different kinds of music (Turkish, Flamenco, Jazz, etc.). I wrote an Artistic Research about electronic unquantized music by analyzing the sound of producers such as Flume, Burial, and Arca. Now that my studies are finished I feel that I want to spread my knowledge and my passion to many people as possible. My class subjects are: - Music Production (from beginners to expert level, mainly Ableton Live and Pro Tools classes) - Cello Lessons (from beginners to intermediate level) - Music Theory (from beginners to expert level) - Composition and Orchestration (explore the world and joy of composing for an orchestra and how to use your DAW as a real symphonic orchestra). As a Producer, I want to let the student feel completely free to ask me whatever he/she wants. I have had many experiences as a producer and I know how to handle many different genres. My first teaching experience was at 17 years old and from that moment on I did not change my teaching set-up. Hello everyone! This is Eren. I am 25 years old. I am a Turkish drummer/producer, graduated from the Utrecht Conservatorium Jazz&Pop Drums department. I am actively playing in 3 bands, and have good experience for my age. I really would like to share my knowledge and experience with you! I will use the stuff that my teachers gave me in the conservatory, and my own techniques in the lessons. Any level is welcome! I can also help with music theory, ear training, solfege and music production in Ableton(basics of ableton, MIDI, audio recordings, mixing&mastering). We will play, learn, talk, have fun, even sometimes get bored but at the end I will make you a good drummer!

I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music and playing synths, drum machines, and computers. It's longer than 5 years now! Electronic music is a very vast world. The possibilities are endless. But do you need to learn everything, or only what interests you to make the music you want to do? From listening and analyzing a song you like, we will go through the necessary knowledge for you to achieve it: - What do you need to build your home studio in order to create something similar? - Which instruments (or plugins) are being used. - Whether or not a knowledge of music theory is necessary. - And in which different ways / through which paths could you achieve something like what you desire? At the same time that we analyze and learn, you are also going to be encouraged to create! Practice makes the master, and the more you create, the more familiar you'll be with the tools and the environments that we learn in class. A part of the class is also going to be dedicated to listening to what you created and going through different ways we may improve it. For people interested in live electronics (live-processing an acoustic instrument or programming live sets), I also have knowledge of Max MSP and I can teach the basics or help you program any kind of device you propose. PD: I have also experienced imparting piano lessons, which is also a very important part of my professional practice. Composing your own music has always been a very rewarding task. This has never been so true as the present day when you can hear what you compose instantly by using computers to generate and play back your own music. However, to ensure that your music sounds really great there are many principles to be considered. I have had a great interest in composing for over 40 years, composing in a wide variety of styles. Having been a music teacher in a comprehensive school for over 30 years, I have had a lot of very relevant experience in teaching composition to a wide range of different ages and abilities. The class will be personalized to your particular standard and chosen style of composition. If you are a complete novice and have not used computers to create music we can use a web-based programme or a free downloadable programme. On the other hand, if you are familiar with a particular programme that you have installed on your computer we can work through screen sharing and sound sharing to enhance your compositions using my experience. My lessons are aimed at teaching a method that can allow student's autonomy in using Max/MSP programming language and the Gen/Gen~ environment. The neophyte can benefit from a practical method, which focuses on the constant exchange between theory and practice; the advanced student will benefit from the refinements of their practice in patch design. Ideally, the student will be able to be independent in some months. Students can expect partial covering of DSP topics for music. If needed, a specific lesson can be requested. Students are invited to present their works and patches, and can expect to discuss them in detail.
