Want to learn piano, beginner or advanced? I can help you!

Translated by Google. Click to view original.
I would like to teach you to learn to play the piano. Music is an indispensable thing in life, in my opinion.
The lessons will be in person at my home on location (online is possible in consultation) and the teaching method will be adapted to knowledge, technique and age. I can teach you technique as well as the fundamentals of music theory.
Of course it's a lot more fun if you can also just play your favorite pieces!
I believe that development of technique is better practiced by learning and applying it in actual pieces of music instead of exercise books of, for example, Alfred's piano method.

Some info about me:

I have been interested in classical music since my early teens. It's an incredibly important part of my life.

My private teachers were main study teacher of piano and organ Jelena Bazova from the Tilburg Conservatory, Canadian concert pianist Steven Massicotte and Helmond city organist Jan van de Laar.

I don't consider myself a soloist, as I had only been at the conservatory for a fairly short time, before going back to ICT and financing my concert grand piano.

Some examples of my (favorite) repertoire (both complete and works in progress):
* Bach WTK 1, Prelude 1 in C
* Bach WTK 1, Prelude 4 in C#m
* Bach WTK 1, Fugue 4 in C#m
* Bach WTK 1, Prelude 24 in Bm
* Bach WTK 1, Fugue 24 in Bm
* Bach Harpsichord Concerto BWV 1052 in Dm

* Chopin Ballades, no. 23.1 in Gm
* Chopin Ballades, no. 47.3 in Ab
* Chopin Scherzi, no. 39.3 in C#m
* Chopin Nocturnes, no. 9.1 in Bbm
* Chopin Nocturnes, no. 9.3 in B major
* Chopin Nocturnes, no. 15.1 in F major
* Chopin Nocturnes, no. 15.2 in F#m
* Chopin Nocturnes, no. 32.1 in B major
* Chopin Nocturnes, no. 48.2 in F#m
* Chopin Nocturnes, no. 62.1 in B major

IT is my main profession.

Fontys Conservatory in Tilburg for classical solo voice and piano with main study teacher of piano and church organ Jelena Bazova for a little over a year.

Experience / Qualifications

Translated by Google. Click to view original.
The video you see on my profile is an improvisation.

My experience is about 18 years long. Of course, years do not necessarily express how qualitatively someone plays. I would therefore also like to mention: 18 years of experience with an effective study method.
Available languages are English and Dutch. Classes will be online for international students and in person (preferable, not a must) or online. I teach all ages/levels; it is never too early or too late to start and this field of work, especially with the prominence of AI, has enormous potential for your career. Of course I will adjust the way of teaching based on your knowledge background and age. My job involves full-stack and Azure/Azure DevOps on a daily basis with the C# .NET stack, but these lessons are primarily designed to help you develop your abstraction skills, latest techniques, general practices, and, if a beginner, C# syntax. The lessons can be named in time slots of 1 hour, but 1,5 or 2 hours is preferable as 1 hour usually is too short to cover enough in time. Time slots of more than 4 hours will not be done, even if desired, because the concentration of students will generally have dropped too much. After all, it is a lot of thinking. Ideally, you take classes on a weekly basis so that the knowledge can be properly applied and it is not forgotten, but that is up to you.

Piano lessons: Fun-Filled journey! Lessons for children and adults!
Hello everyone! My musical journey began when I was just four years old, starting with the piano. Later, at the age of seven, I eagerly embraced the violin, adding its enchanting melodies to my repertoire. I achieved a professional mid-grade in both piano and violin. Fueled by my love for music, I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Codarts University of Arts. Under the guidance of teachers like Natasha Morozova and Hed Yaron Meyerson, I refined my skills and nurtured my artistic vision. After completing my Bachelor's studies, I continued my musical exploration in Codarts' Master's program. Alongside my classical training, I've always been intrigued by the therapeutic potential of music. In 2023, I earned certification in Music Therapy, expanding my horizons and deepening my connection to the healing power of music. In collaboration with my colleagues, I am member of the Olga Trio. Our mission is to highlight the works of women composers throughout history. Our debut performance at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras was a proud moment, affirming our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music. Beyond classical music, I've always been drawn to exploring different genres and styles. As a member of the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023, I relished the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds, pushing the boundaries of traditional musical conventions. In every note I play and every project I undertake, my passion for music shines through. It's a journey of exploration, growth, and discovery, and I'm excited to continue sharing my love for music with the world. I've been teaching during the last 8 years. I am flexible with the students needs and I embrace fun and creativity in my lessons.

COURSE FOR VOCALISTS / SINGER SONGWRITERS "You don't need to be able to play the piano well to learn to accompany songs in a beautiful way in a short time" Do you want that? For example, because you want to learn to guide yourself better as a vocalist and/or singer-songwriter or other vocalists in your teaching practice? That's possible with me. I have developed a method that allows you to learn this quickly. My method provides general insight very quickly and at the same time is focused on you as an individual from the start. Skills/conditions required for this course: - be able to read music notes - basic knowledge of chords on the piano - in possession of an (electric) piano - time for daily tutorial It concerns a course of 5 lessons, in principle during 5 consecutive weeks. The first two lessons may be split so that I can help you on your way every few days. Depending on your (style) taste and level, we determine together which songs we will tackle. What you learn in 5 weeks you can apply to other songs after the course. Of course you can also contact me for individual (piano) lessons, songwriting and theory. Play only what you like! - Piano lessons for all levels and all styles
Music is Play! and everyone is it's own game. Read, understand and make only the music you like. I think if it isn't fun, it can't be music:) I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music. It's longer than 9 years now! Most of my students learn piano. With the starter ones, I use my own system to equally help them grow all the needed skills: body consciousness (to avoid lesions or bad habits), music theory (including writing and reading) and improvisation. Usually most songs are made of melody, chords and rhythm. From there, I can help you understand how a song works, how is it written, how does it translate to the piano... and voilá! You'll know the song by heart, and will be able to play it a bit different every time, because you won't be following a set of pre-imposed instructions. You will understand how a small system (a song) works. This way of learning can be applied to any song, from any century or style. Understanding is key! Play Chopin, write rock songs, play Monk, Bill Evans, the Beatles, make a lo-fi beat, play Beethoven, play the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars, play video game music, play salsa! bachata and make people dance, laugh or cry. Music is very powerful! PD: I have also experience imparting electronic music lessons in Ableton Live and Max MSP, which is now a very important part of my professional practice. In case you are interested, it is also possible to mix the two worlds and create a any kind of path between piano, synths, beats and home studio techniques. Ask me anything, I'll tell you how I could help!
