Graduated from INRACI and Master in writing at ULB, I will be happy to share my teaching and my experiences with you.

My method is to trade as much as possible. I want to try to better understand your point of view or your way of conceiving your project. I will recommend movies to watch to arouse your curiosity. I will also give you a certain analytical basis, to better identify the devices and methods to achieve them. The art of cinema is often to play with codes, for that you must first master them. I will try to teach you to take a step back from your own project and to accept an outside opinion.

Regarding video editing, my method is to take examples of short films / audiovisual projects, and put yourself into practice. Editing certainly needs a little theory, but it can be learned above all by practicing. So I will teach you certain methods and certain precepts to have to master. I will mainly follow your project (s).

    About Me

I was 17 when I started studying cinematography at HELB - Ilya Prigogine. During his school career, I made several short films. Most of them were short fiction films but in 2018, in its second year, I wrote my first documentary - with its future DOP - which is "Capitalized Sin". In 2019, my documentary was finished.
In 2020, he obtained his bachelor's degree. I'm in pre-production for his next film, a docu-fiction. I am currently preparing a Masters in cinematographic writing and analysis at ULB.

    Education

    - Master 1 at HELB in Cinematographic Writing and Analysis

    - Bachelor degree at HELB in cinematography in 2020

    - Graduated in Sciences 8h and Mathematics 6h, at the College Jean XXIII in 2017

    - Performed video editing for dedicated Internet productions since 2012 (I have traveled, seen the changes and evolved with)

    Experience / Qualifications

Before my studies, I edited for 8 years on the internet, on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram (recently). Master 1 at ULB in Cinematography Writing and Analysis. Graduated from my studies in cinema, and above all director of ten short films.
I have never ceased to be passionate about audiovisual and photography. My gaze grew with my age, my studies and my experience.
Depending on your level, whether in mastery of your equipment but also in the editing tools, I will adapt to your level to better support you in your learning. My method is to exchange as much as possible. I want to try to better understand your point of view or your way of conceiving the project. I may be able to recommend photographers who could support your project. The art of photography is the art of point of view and intuition. Why this moment and not another, why wait and on the contrary trigger directly? Why work on this focal length? Why these colors or in B/W? I will strive to awaken and mature these essential questions to keep in mind when preparing your photos.

Photography, camera operating, video recording lessons.
I am a Slovak professional freelance photographer and videographer based in Brussels. I specialize in event photography and in capturing human motion with more than 8 years of a professional career. In the beginning, I was a self-educated photographer, but in 2016 I graduated and got a BA degree in Photography from a University in the UK. I teach a hands-on class. We go through theory and directly apply it in practice. I live close to a large park, where we can find all kinds of subjects. From landscapes, portraits, abstracts, animals, night... My aim is to provide a good knowledge for photographers from pre-productions all the way through production and offer some post-production techniques/tips as well. There is a lot to learn! I believe in a constant education myself since the technology keeps on evolving. I use Nikon DLSR and SLR cameras but the same principals apply to any kind of DSLR, SLR, mirrorless cameras.

Planning on studying law? Want to know more about how the law works? Want to know how to write like a lawyer? Then this class is for you!
Hello! My name is Christian and I am a qualified solicitor back in my home country of New Zealand.I've recently moved to London and before I embark on my next professional adventure, I thought it might be a nice time to give back some of the knowledge I've collected over my studies and professional experience. I took great satisfaction when I helped my younger brother during his legal studies (and even more so when I admitted him to become a lawyer). I spent many years trying to grasp what the law is, how to write a 'legal opinion', how to write 'like a lawyer' - even how to 'think like a lawyer'. Surprisingly, all thise things are actually quite helpful even if you don't want to become a lawyer. Understanding the law can help you know your rights better, it can help you solve problems more logically, it can help you write more concisely and more persuasively. Anywhere you go or whatever you want to do, somewhere along the line the law will be involved - if ever so slightly. And the best part is, there is always more to learn! Even the finest judges, or the most distinguished King's Counsel don't know everything about the law (although they;d be pretty bloody close). So let me know whether you're studying law and want some help with your studies, whether you want to improve your writing or negotiating skills, whether you want to learn abit more about the law that affects you, or whether you want to know what its' like working as a lawyer. There are no silly questions in my class! (Please note that this class is not and cannot be constituted as 'legal advice', it is for educational purposes only!) Look forward to meeting you all, Christian Oh and if I haven't selected available times that would suit you better, please drop me a line and I'll see what can be arranged.
