I offer private piano lessons for students of different age and levels. Depending on the student's final goal we adjust the repertoire and skills that are needed for obtaining the goal. My goal as a teacher is to keep and increase the students' love for music as well as offer necessary and appropriate knowledge/skills to keep the student challenged.

Hello! My name is Poppea, I am 23 years old from Amsterdam studying jazz vocals here in Tallinn. Even though I study jazz, I am also experienced with Folk, R&B, Soul, Pop, Country, Hip-Hop, actually any kind of genre! I find it the most important in my lessons that the student feels free and safe to explore their own artistry and voice. I will always help to support the student in becoming the best singer they can be, whatever that might look like! We will first have a consultation lesson where we will get to know each other and make a learning plan. We could focus on expanding your repertoire, your performance ability, technique, songwriting, ear training, solfege, harmony and theory, vocal health, practising routines... Music is in the origin of human history and is one of the oldest form of art and communication. It is the fundament of our culture, of ourselves. Only through music, we as the human race could evolve. Let's learn how to write music by becoming familiar with harmony, solfeggio, counterpoint. Andrea was born in Latina in 1996. His interest in music began as a child thanks to the influence of his uncle self-taught musician. The fascination of creation and musical production led him at the age of 13 to begin studies of Composition (under the guidance of Maestro Alberto Meoli) and Classical Guitar (with Maestro Giuseppe Gazzelloni and Maestro Marco del Greco) at the "Ottorino Respighi" conservatory in Latina. During his studies he has participated in numerous masterclasses with composers such as Leo Brouwer, Richard Causton, Toshio Hosokawa, Danny Elfman. In 2018 he participated in the annual composition course held by Giorgio Colombo Taccani as part of the LeAltreNote festival. His works have been performed in several European countries by artists such as Ensemble Fractales (Belgium), Birmingham Contemporary Music Group (United Kingdom), Estonian Police Wind Orchestra (Estonia), Fabrice Pierre (France), Stefano Parrino, Stefano Di Loreto (Italy ),... Among the awards obtained: 3rd prize at the Wolfgang Jacobi competition in Trossingen with “Cinque Miniature” for alto saxophone and accordion; 2nd prize in the Musica Nova competition (M ° Ennio Morricone jury director) in Latina with “I am vertical” for ensemble and soprano; O / Modernt Music Award in 2020 in Stockholm with “Ein Körnchen Sands” for mezzo-soprano, cello and piano; audience prize in the Tärkav Vask.ID competition in Tallinn with the piece "Śūnyatā" for wind orchestra; finalist in January 2021 in the Musequal competition in Helsinki with "Le vrai vert de l’ésperance" for violin, cello and piano. He is currently completing a master's in composition with Helena Tulve at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater in Tallinn, Estonia.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

Hi, I’m Cassie—a British jazz saxophonist, award-winning composer, and Trinity Laban Conservatoire graduate, now based in Berlin. I’m currently looking for a couple of private saxophone and/or composition students who are keen to develop their skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Saxophone Lessons: With a strong background in Jazz and improvised music, I offer saxophone lessons tailored to each student’s needs—whether you’re preparing for ABRSM or Royal College exams (or other equivalent examination boards), exploring jazz improvisation, or just playing for fun. As a performer, I’ve played at major festivals and venues across the UK, USA & Europe such as Glastonbury Festival (UK, SXSW (USA) and Paris Jazz Festival (FR). I am still active as a touring band-leader/artist and I bring that real-world experience into my teaching. I hold a BMus Hons degree in composition from Trinity Laban Conservatoire (London) where I studied with American composer Stephen Montague and British composer Andrew Poppy. I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
