Do you play the flute and want to learn how to play Argentine tango with it? This is the right course for you! My name is Nicolás and I'm from Argentina. During my studies in Buenos Aires I took lessons from Paulina Fain and Victoria Polti, two of the flute's main references in tango. I also studied Argentine folk music at the conservatory for several years. The lessons can be in German, English or Spanish. We are happy to do a free interview to get to know each other and talk about your goals with the flute. You don't need any prior knowledge. I will do my best to adapt the lessons to your wishes and needs.

Graduated with highest marks cum laude for the Bachelor degree in flute at the Conservatory of Florence (Italy) and with the same points at the Conservatory of Milano for the piccolo Master, I am now attending a Master degree in flute performance at the Zurich University of the Arts. Music and especially flute and piccolo are my real passion. My lessons will be always different, based on the student. My main goal is to make music affordable to everyone, that's why I love to have students of any age. I'd love to have the opportunity to spread my passion: music should be first of all fun and a real joy!

Hallo, mein Name ist Pia und ich bin Flötistin :) Ich habe mit 8 Jahren angefangen, Flöte zu lernen, es hat mir sofort gefallen und so habe ich nach der Musikschule mein Studium am Konservatorium in Maribor (Slowenien) fortgesetzt, danach habe ich an der Kunst Universität Graz studiert und 2024 habe ich meinen Bachelor an der Gustav Mahler Privatuniversität in Klagenfurt abgeschlossen. Dort habe ich einen Abschluss in Konzertfach und einen Abschluss in Instrumentalpädagogik gemacht. Während meines Studiums absolvierte ich auch einen Spezialisierungskurs in Alter Musik mit dem Hauptfach Traversflöte. Daher biete ich auch Unterricht für Anfänger auf diesem schönen Barockinstrument an. Während meines Studiums hatte ich einige Privatschüler, mit denen ich die Klänge der Flöte und verschiedene Genres (Klassik, Pop, Jazz, Volksmusik, Improvisation usw.) erkundet habe. Mein Unterricht ist entspannt und kommunikativ, voll von gemeinsamem Musizieren. Der Unterricht kann auch online stattfinden. Hi, I am Thore. I’m a German Bachelors degree flute student at the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen. During my studies here I could and still can gather a lot of knowledge about methodology and pedagogy and could already make a few teaching experiences. For me teaching means learning from each other. Thus the student of course gets insight to my knowledge about music and instrumental technique but I will also learn a lot from the student about the individual factors of flute playing and music making in general. In my lessons I focus a lot on breathing and posture because for me these two are the most influential factors to healthy and beautiful playing. I am also open to incorporating the students musical interests e.g. Disney- and Pop-songs. Lessons can be conducted in Dutch, English and German.

I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.

I have been performing in various ensembles and venues around Europe and Israel, playing baroque, medieval, renaissance and contemporary music which is the vast repertoire of the recorder. I graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory of the Hague. I have been teaching in various platforms for over 20 years and I adapt the lessons to your needs, wishes and level. During our lessons I will teach you the skill set of mastering the recorder. Obtaining good technique, working on good posture and healthy breathing along side learning about the instrument and it's history. Learning to play the recorder is an opportunity to expend your horizons, be creative and learn the art of listening. I was principal flute at the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Warsaw (Poland) and have over 45 years of experience teaching repertoire, solo, chamber music and orchestra. Over the years I have developed my method of Conscious Flute Playing, which has allowed me and my students to make the flute sing as we wish. Thanks to this we can learn music theory passively as we go through the pieces. There is also the opportunity to participate in student concerts in Brussels twice a year (December and June). Intensive courses before entering the conservatory, competitions etc. also available on request!

I recently completed my studies in transverse flute at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music in Venice. I will move to Graz for a further master's degree and am available for lessons in music theory and practice.
