I taught M1 and M5 math for 10 years in the English Program for Talented Students at Satit Patumwan Demonstration School in Bangkok before moving to Cha Am in 2021. I'm an ex-research engineer from the San Diego, US with 18 years' experience designing, building and testing prototypes and experiments for multiple government agencies as a private contractor, including the FAA, DARPA, NRL, and the FCC. This experience has given me a unique ability, combined with my love of almost anything technical, to reach students who previously could not see the light, and to help successful students to see their full potential. I love working with kids to help them see and reach their dreams. Many students need to see the connection between the math or science they are learning today and the real world. I struggled with math because I needed to understand how and why it worked, I couldn't just memorize equations and then be expected to apply them. Without this connection many students can get frustrated with math and lose the motivation to work hard enough to reach their goals. It's not new that even top medical universities across the globe are seeking math, physics and engineering graduates above all else. Having a good basic understanding of math at an early age is critical, and the P5 to M3 age level is probably the most critical. This is where I can make the biggest impact, and hopefully set students on a successful trajectory. My proudest achievement in life has been watching my previous students/friends become successful and knowing I had at least a small part in helping them get there. It's hard to really get to know, and become friends with 70 new students a year, but I made it my mission. Really knowing a student helps me figure out why they should be learning math, and how best to teach it to them. It is a lot more fun to learn math with a friend, plus, we are motivated by our friends, and we want to make them proud. Math skills are your golden ticket when you graduate high school — they can open up so many doors for you. That’s why I teach math instead of physics or chemistry.

Kathak is one of the Indian classical dance forms from North India. It is the only dance form that portrays both Hinduism and Islamic culture. I will be teaching from the basics of the art form along with the theory aspects from Natyshastra and Abhinaya Darpana. Understanding why we are doing each step is very important when we learn something new. And when someone asks, one should be able to explain what they are learning and why it is done in that particular manner. I would also be teaching them the incorporation of theoretical aspects to the practicals, teaching different bedas and hand gestures(mudras), and their usages as they progress in order to understand what they are doing practically. All of these notes would be written by the students in their book for their future reference and self-practice. The class becomes intricate and complicated as they move forward. In every class they would be learning something new no matter whether it is big or small. Some days they might have homework or creative exercises so that it helps them to choreograph and also bring their imaginations through movements. I would be starting with the basic posture and the basic footwork called as tatkar as it is the basic and crucial one for this art form. Then it progresses to Tihai's and then to even with the usage of Ang ie, The hands and eyes and the sway of the body. Tatkar (Footwork) Chakkars(Pirouettes) Tihai’s (Rhythmical pattern repeated thrice as an ending) Usage of Ang( Inclusion of hand movements to Tatkar) Shloka (Angikam bhuvanam) Class Flow Namaskar Warm-ups Tatkar (Different speeds; Starting with the slow speed till the higher speed that they can do) Tatkar with Ang( In different speeds with the eye and hand movements in taught) Chakkars

Performing with London Philharmonic Orchestra and other professional ensembles. Insta: gagaopaka I started playing the violin when I was 5 years old, and throughout my musical education I've been extremely lucky to study with generous teachers and masters. They not only passed on the knowledge of the violinistic technique, but also sparked my musical imagination and taught me how to listen to, understand and perform music from different ages of history. Over the past years, I approached music education from both a theoretical and practical point of view. During my Erasmus at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2016, I attended the Teaching Skills Course. It helped me to understand the many mechanisms of a performer’s thought processes and, consequently, to adjust my teaching method to each student. In 2016, being a member of Southbank Sinfonia enabled me to gain experience working with instrumentalists, mentoring young musicians at Glyndebourne, Vaughan Memorial School and Thomas's Battersea School. In 2014, I graduated in Pedagogical Studies at the Academy of Music in Cracow (2014). This diploma included psychology, pedagogy, didactics, voice projection, violin teaching methods and an internship at a music high school as a Violin Teacher. Among my recent teaching experiences, in August 2019 I gave masterclasses at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music, working with musicians of the Penderecki Youth Orchestra. During the same period, I taught musicians of the NOR59 Strykeinstitutt Orchestra in Oslo. Recently I have been selected to be an Ambassador with The Benedetti Foundation in London. Trusted teacher: My name is Pia, I am a professional harpist-singer, composer and arranger. Pia
My 8 year old daughter signed up for a singing contest at school with no experience or knowledge in music. We did get in touch with Pia and she was able to give a few singing lessons within a short period of time. Yesterday my daughter performed very successfully in the contest. Pia is not only able to teach singing, she also has the ability to motivate and inspire and she has definitely awaken the interest in music to our daughter. We are very happy that we have met Pia and hope to see her again.
