Trusted teacher: Private Painting and Drawing lessons, any level! I am a classically trained painter, I have been painting seriously for 17 years and studied intensively in Florence, Italy. I will teach you the basics about light, form, line, colour and space, and how to constantly grow and improve. We start with drawing from observation and continue to other mediums, including oil paint, once the student is ready. Landscape, still life, portrait, expressive. My goal is to help my students improve every time and reach a new level. I provide many examples from art history as well as my own work, and give lots of demonstrations. I offer a personalized approach fitted to each student. The classes are in a small group format, no more than 4 at a time and each student works at their own pace, it is private classes with other students present, offering a supportive environment in which to learn and grow. Each student receives personalized instruction at their own level. Each student is guaranteed to improve. I ask for a commitment of 5 lessons at a time to see some improvement, and I accept students who are looking for longer term learning. Commitment is a must to grow! Try out one lesson to see if the class is a good for for you. My students tend to stay with me for the long term, if it is the right fit. For these assignments, Charlotte was very engaged and made sure that the assignments would assist me in my specific professional goals. She did this by tailoring the subject matter to my professional work - mostly legal and political matters - and she pushed me to consider what I wanted to achieve from my audience with each speaking opportunity. Charlotte, however, is not only a skilled professional. She is also a tremendously kind, energetic and dynamic person to work with. She made me feel comfortable sharing my vulnerabilities, which made the process of receiving constructive feedback a fun and welcomed experience.
