The English course is carried out entirely in English because it seems to me that total immersion is necessary to progress, however I adapt to the level of each one and French will of course be tolerated if necessary. Ciao and よろしく! My name's Aaron and I'm a certified foreign language teacher with a knack for both teaching and learning languages. My university degree was in linguistics and foreign language acquisition with a specialisation in Japanese and Spanish, where I had the chance to study abroad in Japan and obtain an N1 proficiency certificate. For the past 4 years I have been living and working in a fully immersive environment in Sicily, Italy. My teaching method involves using real life and relevant material and encouraging the student to "produce" as much language as possible, always based on the student's needs and learning objectives. I expect my students to take responsibility for their learning as much as I take responsibility for them. I have had the chance to teach English to people of various ages and in various countries, where I learned how to properly structure lesson plans and courses. As time has gone on, I have found joy in teaching beginner and intermediate level Japanese and Italian and I look forward to teaching to you too!
