I suggest you improve your saxophone and music practice by focusing on learning melody by ear and developing improvisation. As for instrumental technique, I can teach you how to place your fingers properly to develop your virtuosity, to have a tonic air column and a good embouchure to develop your sound and to work on articulation to improve your phrasing. All this is acquired little by little by playing specific exercises and solos, pieces or saxophone studies. Through learning the instrument I also suggest you develop your musical qualities which are essential to progress and have fun playing. By learning and memorizing melodies or solos by ear, you develop your ear, your sense of rhythm and your memory. Free improvisation allows you to develop your inner singing and your musical personality. Finally, working with a metronome or directly on recordings will help you improve your rhythmic ear. All this is aimed at allowing the greatest possible freedom with one's instrument as well as the development of a personal aesthetic. I started learning the saxophone at the conservatory 7 years ago. I started with jazz then curiosity pushed me to study classical saxophone for 3 years before specializing in tenor and jazz. I had many saxophone teachers (Eric Barret, Pascal Gaubert, Sylvain Rifflet, Sylvain Cathala...) and today I have a bachelor's degree at the Royal Conservatory with Fabrice Alleman and Manu Hermia. I have played the saxophone in many different contexts, often in jazz in small groups or in a Big Band, in classical solo or in a quartet and also with pop groups on stage or in the studio. I have always loved passing on what I have learned, so I have been teaching beginners/amateurs for 4 years, always with the aim of developing the pleasure of playing and regularity of practice.

Trusted teacher: FRENCH: I have been in music since I was 5 years old, I decided to make it my job and so I studied at the Brussels Conservatory (Master level). I specialize in jazz but my favorite field remains Groove music. I also went through a lot of styles (rock, funk, pop, reggae,...) during my years of learning the bass. To get an idea of my playing style, my main influence in Jazz bass is Dario Deidda. I'm very inspired by "underground" bands from Brussels like Stuff, ECHT, Tukan, Jean-Paul Groove, Ciao Kennedy,... Abroad I could mention Athletic Progression, KUF, Takuya Kuroda, Vels trio, Vulfpeck (and dozens of others!) Without forgetting the classics like Parliament, Earth Wind and fire, PUSH, Jamiroquai,... I don't have a particular method. Unless my student requests it, my lessons are done by feeling according to his desires and his objectives. We can very well just learn pieces and at the same time deepen the technique and the knowledge of the music if requested. The goal is to have fun. Francesca
Francesca is a committed, generous teacher, and her classes are the perfect mix between structure and creativity! I've made huge progress and gained self-confidence since the first lesson, thanks to regular, targeted exercises to train my voice and improve my breathing. Francesca understands well the issues and potential strengths of my voice, and adapts the class accordingly. Really happy so far, so I can only recommend :)

A classified vocal coach looking at helping you find your own unique voice (Saint-Gilles)
Arianna
An outstanding singer, teacher and just a beautiful human-being. When I first came in, I had not believed in my ability to sing, but the lessons with Arianna became so addicting that I don't wish to stop now! She created a safe space from day 1 and brought my voice out, helped me crack it and polish it afterwards :) The best first tutor I could've had! Merci!

Francesco
I have had several lessons with Francesco, and he is an excellent teacher! I am a beginner on the Double Bass but have previously played other instruments and know a bit about theory, so I really appreciate his versatility in expalining different musical aspects. I strongly recommend Francesco if you are looking for a music teacher!
