Are they having difficulties keeping up with the learning pace or are they still struggling with understanding the basic principles? Do they have an issue with staying focused for prolonged periods of time, or do they simply not enjoy the subject at all? My name is Farris, and I am currently a 3rd-year Aerospace Engineering student studying at TU Delft. I have a strong international background, having lived most of my life outside the Netherlands and at international schools. Upon completing my secondary education at The International School of The Hague in 2020, I began tutoring students from the school who struggled with mathematics and physics and have been doing so ever since. My tutoring sessions often follow quite an unorthodox approach. As a younger student myself, I struggled massively with mathematics and physics at a younger age, mostly due to issues with focusing and understanding, as well as being diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Over the years I developed methods of dealing with such issues, and it is those methods that I use in my tutoring sessions to help students progress in their academics. I live near the Rotterdam Centrum area. Tutoring sessions can happen at my house, at public locations (Rotterdam Central Library), at the home of the student (depending on location), or online on a call. If a student is hesitant to learn one-on-one, or has a friend/classmate whom would also like to be tutored, dual sessions can take place whereby both students are tutored simultaneously. I believe I am a good teacher of math but am also exceptional at CV checks or helping with motivational essays and essay writing in general so would be happy to help in that area aswell. For my bachelors I pursued an aerospace engineering degree and am currently pursuing a masters in Cognitive Robotics. I am passionate about both learning and teaching because I have always believed education is the strongest tool. I am not somebody who understands things immediately so when I myself was learning in younger classes and in school, I always had a lot of questions and patiently worked through them. I think this kind of mentality is important when tutoring or mentoring somebody as opposed to criticizing mistakes. In my opinion, the more questions you ask, the better you understand! My teaching method usually includes introducing new theories and topics during our live sessions together and then assigning a few exercises or some homework for you to work on after the class on your own. In the next class, we will then go through your homework and clarify any questions you have. Again the aim is not that I am expecting a 100% on the homework (this could also be what your school gives you every week), but it's so we can work together on what you get stuck on!

Anh really knows what he’s doing, not only he is expert in math, but as well excellent in his teaching technique. My son told me that he understood better and much easier with the technique taught by Anh. My son is junior school level, but wanting to learn bit advanced math compared to the topics he’s learning at school. He’s looking forward to having more learning with Anh and we booked immediately for 10 lessons.
