I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training, I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory classes for 6 years because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

Playing the piano has many benefits for the brain, especially for young children. Adults also can join the fun of piano playing, there are no late start! You can learn for serious goals or learn for fun. The piano lessons are given by a conservatory student.

I am Ana Marquez (23 years old), violinist and music teacher from Spain based in the Netherlands, last May I completed my studies at the HKU Utrecht Conservatory. I started my musical education at the age of 6 in Málaga, my birthplace. I followed the Suzuki method from an early age, but I am also familiar with other methods such as the Paul Roland method or the Yehudi Menuhin method. Throughout my musical career I have been inspired and influenced by many great musicians who have guided and taught me. What I hope to offer my students is the ability to expand their vision and love for music, helping them find the music they want to make, play and experience. A technical side is being developed, but a creative, executive and musical treatment will also be present in my lessons. From classical to jazz. My goal is to show everyone how beautiful music can be. And fun!

Hi, I am Mario. I am 20 years old and I am currently finishing my bachelor degree in classical violin at Utrecht Conservatory. I come from a family of musicians and I started playing the violin when I was 4 years old. The classes will be adapted to the student's level. Student at the HKU conservatory in Classical and Jazz/Pop violin, I give private lessons for beginners to advanced violinists. The lessons take place with joy and patience in order to guide the student according to his needs and his personal research. The student chooses what he/her would like to work on, from classical to folklore and improvisation. I apply methods related to the physiotherapy of musicians in order to develop the faculties and deepen the musicality of each musician while respecting the natural postures of the body. After studying in Lyon with Claire Bernard, I entered in the HKU Utrechts Conservatorium in classical and Jazz:Pop violin. Since then, my activities are balanced between chamber music, professonnal orchestras and fusion Jazz bands like Citrus Blossom and Drone Alone.

In my lessons I will teach you classical repertoire of the cello, but also, if you wish, we can work on some alternative repertoire. Moreover, we will work on technical aspects (bowings, left hand) as well as how to create the healthiest posture to play cello. You will find with me the endless possibilities of this instrument. Hello everyone, I'm Enrico and I come from Italy. Right now I am in Utrecht where I am doing a master's degree in cello under the guidance of Timora Rosler. During my years of studies I always had the possibility to teach music, in fact while I was doing my Bachelor in Italy at the Conservatory of Turin, I taught cello and music theory in a private music school called "Isla de Musiqueros", in this school I had the opportunity to teach people of all ages, including children under 4 years old. When I moved to the Netherlands little by little I started to find students and many many concerts. I believe that playing is the best way to have fun and express your emotions, the work I want to do is work on tensions and try to help you melt away while playing, in this way you can have more sound and feel more free. Technique is also very important in the everyday life of a musician, together we can see the best exercises for you, to help you improve and have more confidence with the instrument.
