I'm teaching practical techniques to greatly improve your art and also the creativity boost methods you'll need to develop original ideas. I'm giving fun lessons on subjects that are necessary fundamentals of being able to create strong and bold artworks. I can teach digital art, oil painting, watercolor, pencil drawing and comics. We'll design classes together based on your needs. All skill levels are welcome and will benefit from this lessons.

The class is meant for those who wish to enter the world of performance art - an experimental art form that originated in the 1960s in the United States. My intention with the lessons is to teach a student how to begin an independent artistic practice as a performance artist through practical exercises, readings, and analysis of performances (on photos, video and in events we would visit together). The basic theory and history of performance art are introduced so the student can get oriented in the respective art context. If desired, the class can go deeper in theory with the readings from the related field of Performance Studies. While performance ART is an artistic field, performance STUDIES is wider academic discipline working with the notion of performance not only in art but also in the sports, rituals, play, every day, sex, technology, business and elsewhere. I base the class on my years-long artistic, theoretical and curatorial practices and on my education in the field (BA in Site-Specific Performance, ongoing MA in Live Art and Performance Studies, BA in General Art Studies).

Through hands-on exercises and guided practice, we’ll explore essential techniques such as line, shape, shading, perspective, and proportion. I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London. Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don't always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you! Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs. The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language. (Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. Holder of a Bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and creation of multidisciplinary performances from the Iceland University of the Arts, a Master 2 in Art Research & International Creation from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I am an artist member of the International Dance Council at UNESCO. Since 2020, I have been engaged in academic research on medical and spiritual dance whose practice is called Transcendental Dance (Transcendental Embodiment). I intend to present this research in a doctoral contract. My professional experience extends internationally where I had the opportunity to work alongside various renowned companies and to organize internships in France, Iceland, Sweden, Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey and Asia.
