I am a master's student in English who can teach beginners, intermediates and advanced learners of English. As a native English speaker, I offer individual lessons and group tutorials if needed. My methods, which have been described as fun and interactive by my students, include visual aids, music and hands-on sessions. We are learning, but it is also important to have fun and enjoy the process.

Originally from the UK, I have been working and travelling abroad for the last few years so I understand the difficulties and beauty of learning a new language. I enjoy working with conversation practice as well as more traditional methods of learning grammer - I believe it is important to adapt to each individual's needs and areas of interest in the process of helping them achieve their goals. I have worked as an English teacher to refugees as well as teaching dance and somatic movement practices online and in person. Currently I am based in Brussels but am happy to work online or come to you! In my own creative practice I work with poetry as well as performative spoken word, however I am happy to talk about a wide range of subjects with you. I will encourage you to read and discover new vocabulary at your own speed as well as in classes in a non-judgmental and fun atmosphere.

My name is Luca and I obtained my postgraduate degree in economics and business management from the Catholic University of Milan. Now, I am doing a master's degree in Business Economics at ULB in Brussels. I am ready to give lessons in my mother tongue, Italian, but also French and English. I have been giving lessons for 3 years. I spent 4 months at EM Normandie business school in Le Havre, France, where I took several management and finance courses entirely in French. This experience has considerably strengthened my knowledge and language skills: I am currently a C1 level in French (OLS Erasmus certificate) and B2 + in English (Ielts certificate). I am an American student living and studying in Brussels. My teaching methods are based largely on my own experiences studying French, German and Japanese, combined with careful consideration of the interests and learning style of the student. The primary and most important motivation in language learning is the desire to understand and take part in another culture. I therefore try to understand why my students would like to learn English, and what aspects of English-speaking culture interest them, whether it be films, literature, music, etc. Our lessons will be primarily conversations entirely in English (or as much as possible) with corrections when needed. Using your current English level and the kinds of mistakes you make as a guide, we can look at grammar, pronunciation, and other topics to improve your level. If desired, we can prepare topics and resources ahead of class time, such as articles, movies, books, etc. to give us a theme for the conversation.

This one-hour course can help you/your child improve certain subjects: English. It is based on the review of acquired knowledge in order to correct gaps through exercises. Then a deepening of the course in the case where the knowledge is already acquired.
