This efficient and powerful software was first used for the preservation of archaeological objects and historical monuments, but is now used for video games, VFX and virtual reality, as it offers tools and results of a impressive quality, all in an easy-to-use interface. In this course, you will be able to learn: -How does photogrammetry work? -How to take suitable photos -How to prepare these photos for their use in the software -How to use these photos to reconstruct an object in 3D and apply a realistic texture to it -How to optimize scans for custom use (games, movies, etc.) Gradually, we will solidify these skills to learn how to build a library of highly realistic objects based on high resolution scans. Good morning ! I am currently a master's student in general history at the University of Geneva. My studies allowed me to acquire a solid base of knowledge and skills, both in writing and in research. My knowledge of historical facts as well as Latin and ancient Greek will allow me, I hope, to be able to push the explanations given by the teachers in class and perhaps lift the veil on possible misunderstandings on the part of the students. The objective is to support students in difficulty as well as those who would simply like to consolidate their knowledge. In both cases, I am keen to be able to make the disciplines that I teach a little more digestible and to arouse students' interest in history, literature and the arts, to show them that not everything is not just a matter of stupid and nasty cramming, and that understanding always takes precedence over rote.
