As a second year medical student, I have an abundance of experience with learning mathematics and sciences. I took all three sciences and maths in my IBDP Diploma. Now, I am continuing to extensively develop my science and maths knowledge in my medicine course. Maths and sciences are very interesting and important subjects, but can be quite challenging to learn independently. My tutoring is focussed on providing clear, structured, organised and engaging lessons to help with any confusion. I tailor my lessons to the students needs and encourage them to be active in their own learning through means of practice questions. I am someone who is kind, attentive, motivated and hard-working and these attributes come across in my tutoring sessions. As a recent IB graduate with a score of 44/45 (All 7's in the Sciences and Maths), I know how to master the content of the IB diploma in a smart way. I am currently studying medicine at the RUG in Groningen and also provide extra lessons. I have passed exams in mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, Dutch, biology and economics. I have achieved satisfactory results in all subjects but usually give tutoring in mathematics, English and biology. I can also provide tutoring in the other courses. I can come to the pupil at home but the pupil can also come to me, in Vries, Zeijen or the UMCG in Groningen.

Organic Chemistry is a difficult subject, but only if you make it so. In reality, if learned well it is actually a beautiful subject and relatively easy. I will help you from the very basics, you can learn these concepts or revise them if you already know them, and then grow from those basics to intermediate concepts and higher levels. The harsh truth is that organic chemistry relies on the memorization of reactions, structures, reagents, and rules which can make it quite daunting to study. But, with effective teaching methods and practice questions you will be able to conquer this subject. We will structure the classes according to your level and understanding, we can go slower or faster based on your schedule and I will assign homework for practice, but we will also solve questions together during the lesson. Hopefully, I will be able to help you appreciate this beautiful subject, if not then at least help you clear your exams :)

Biology is a truly fascinating subject, so let's make sense of it all together! I'm an enthusiastic third year medicine student at the University of Groningen. Besides my studies I also participate in the Honour's college (an extra challenging programme followed besides the standard medicine programme) and I am involved in research going on in the hospital. As for my high school background, I have obtained an International Baccalaureate diploma with 44 out of 45 points. Previously I have already tutored IB Biology HL and now I feel ready to get back to tutoring!
