I’ve taught people of all ages and helped my students reach performance and exam goals, with a teaching style that emphasises love of music, curiosity, thoroughness, and fun. I'm a professional composer and pianist, graduated from Music at Cambridge with a starred first, starting a Composition masters in London autumn 2022. At university I had works performed and workshopped by noteworthy musicians such as Judith Weir.

I'm available to teach any level of Music Theory from Grade 1-8, or provide any help with GCSE or A-Level Music exams. I can also give lessons on Aural and Sight-reading if desired. In this class we can cover the basics of Music Theory, or prepare students for Grade 5 exams or other assesments.

I have experience singing jazz, pop and musical theatre and have completed one year on a Vocal Studies course at a Music Conservatoire. I have Grade VIII in Violin and Classical Voice, Grade VI in piano and Pop and Jazz Vocals and recently achieved a 1st for my final degree recital and composition. The techniques that you gain from classical training can be applied to all genres and give a strong foundation to be able to perform any music you may be interested in. I can also offer help with music theory and shape what I teach to meet your interests and goals. I aim to help you truly love music and gain confidence in your performance and musicianship skills in a safe and encouraging environment. Jazz piano is an excellent route for people who are looking for a less book-focused, more aural approach to learning an instrument. I can tutor beginners to the piano or classical-converts who are looking to experience jazz by condensing my education down into core principles. This method of learning helps you move away from the books and to start enjoying the piano with more confidence and skill. I teach with a strong emphasis on theory and aural listening and with my resources I can take you through basics to more advanced lessons. I'm also fully equipped to teach music theory classes and to tutor in GCSE and A-Level music (composition, particularly) as well as teaching early level classical piano (up to ABRSM Grade 6). My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs.
