This course is intended for people who want tutoring or special help in order to prepare for the matriculation exams, or even those at university. I teach all school math subjects, as well as college-level analysis and algebra. If you need support in your lessons or your school exams I would be happy to prepare you and allow you to improve quickly. I can also allow you to get ahead of your program and learn mathematical concepts at university level (up to the second year of engineering school). My experience with university and college students allows me to easily adapt my pedagogy to all levels in order to get the best out of it. Classes take place mainly at my home or on the EPFL campus, I can also travel by public transport to your home.

I am now a chemist who holds a degree from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), and on April 11, 2019, I successfully defended a doctoral thesis in experimental physics at the University of Geneva (UNIGE). As a computer science student at EPFL, mathematics has been an integral part of my academic journey for a long time. With this experience, I have already had the opportunity to give support courses at different levels, which has allowed me to develop a pedagogical spirit and focused on excellence. Primary level Math basics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and basic geometry. Fun activities and practical exercises to reinforce understanding. Secondary level Dig deeper into math concepts, like basic algebra, geometry, percentages, and probability. Preparation for written work. High school level Advanced mathematics, including algebra, geometry, statistics, basics of integrals (derivatives and primitives).

I love teaching and have always enthusiastically helped my classmates. I have been giving private lessons since 2016 (around 25 students, including one for Analysis I, EPFL). As a Master of Data Science student at EPFL, mathematics is an important part of my academic curriculum. During my studies, I had the opportunity to act as a student assistant at EPFL in various courses in the Computer Science section. These experiences allowed me to develop a teaching spirit. I am trilingual: I was born in the Netherlands with Dutch parents, I went to English boarding school and I finished my schooling in France and I currently live in Lausanne. I have already given French, Dutch and English lessons in Lausanne so I am experienced with this (also on Apprentus). I am able to give lessons for all levels: from beginner to very experienced. For those interested in a preparation concerning literature rather, I am also able to give lessons (I had 20/20 on my French BAC).
