Hi, My name is Jeremy and I have a Master's in Physics with honors from the University of Leicester (which was featured as a top 5 Physics university in the UK by The Guardian) and a - french - European School diploma in which I achieved 90% in Physics and 85% in Maths. Hi everyone, I am a Belgian student, currently, I'm in my first master's year at the KULeuven. I chose a master's in 'Rehabilitation sciences and physiotherapy specialization musculoskeletal disorders'. During my bachelor years, I developed a very good basic knowledge of science subjects and mathematics: I studied statistics for 3 years, molecular cell biology, chemistry, physics, biomechanics, biochemistry and anatomy. The quality of teaching of both the University of Leuven as the high school I went to (Heilig Hartcollege Tervuren) is something I am very happy/thankful for. the EXMD, entrance exam for Medicine now passed in Competition is now slightly more complicated. The subject of this exam is specific and requires a teaching of logic and not the simple recitation of courses learned by heart. Indeed, it is professors of Medicine who create the questions of the competition and seek to make the student reason and reflect in order to classify him. There are 4 science subjects: -Mathematics -Physical -Chemistry -Biology These four subjects are essential to master because they will follow you throughout your first two years of Bachelor. And 4 non-scientific subjects: -Ethics -Empathy -Reasoning -Communication These subjects are based on fairly simple principles and a lot of logic, which is sometimes not innate! I obviously teach for the 8 subjects.

I am a student of TEW at the KULeuven and would like to offer my services to high school students who could use some help outside of school hours. Together with my students, I look for the right study approach to fully understand the courses and I try to present the subject matter in a different way so that my students gain more insight into the subject matter. I myself graduated from the Sint-Albertuscollege in Haasrode with a degree in science mathematics (6 hours) and I was raised perfectly bilingual (Dutch-French). I have several years of experience with tutoring, both to children in the 2nd year of high school and to children who are at the end of their high school and will soon be making the transition to further studies. I am a civil engineer in construction and during my career, I made a specialization in chemistry, physics. I give lessons in everything related to science: math, physics, chemistry... I have been teaching in Belgium and even in England since 2015. Generally I ask the student to give me the material he wants to work on and the best thing is for him to prepare his questions so that we can move forward faster instead of being blocked and at the risk of reviewing parts that he has already understood. (Although I once had a class where I completely re-explained the teacher's syllabus.) I also ask to become familiar with the material and nothing is better for that than doing a lot of exercises.

The course (and this for the different subjects) will be mainly based on the material seen at school but accompanied by more explanations if necessary. This arouses curiosity and trains the brain to have a concrete logic of reflection.

I believe that knowledge is built from basics and deep understanding of concepts with practicality. Any concept learnt with practical application is more important than theoretical knowledge and worth in the long term. With this in mind you can expect me to deliver information in a simple and effective manner for better understanding.

I like to explain mathematics both to students who have more difficulty conceptualizing its fundamental notions as well as to those who understand them more easily. I strive to present mathematics in an intelligent and understandable way. Indeed, the clarity of explanations is one of the most important aspects to consider when teaching mathematics. Also, I am aware of the stress that students sometimes feel and therefore I make it a point that students do not feel any stress from a math class but rather that they work to their best of their abilities in a relaxed and pleasant setting.

Introduction to concepts of physics in a more elaborated and experimentally oriented way for school students is the theme of the class. Concepts of physics are introduced in practical way so you can also relate to concepts. Having a PhD in photonics and optical fiber, students who needed more specialised focus can also contact. I prefer to keep personal classes then a group one.

Experienced teacher (international schools and private tutoring) with a Master's degree in Mathematics, currently doing a Master's in Statistics at KU Leuven.
