About her experience as a performer, she has won 20 prizes in competitions and performed in 9 different countries (Spain, UK, France, Netherlands, Latvia, United States, China, Korea and Switzerland). Recently, she won the RNCM Lucy Hale Award and the RNCM Clifford Hartley Award, the latter one for achieving the highest mark at the piano pedagogy course. Hello, my name is Ricardo and I'm a Portuguese professional opera singer and singing teacher based in London. I trained at the University of Aveiro (2010; BMus & MEdu Vocal Performance and Tuition w/ Distinction) and at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (2011; MMus in Performance w/ Merit). I'm a certified singing teacher and would love to help you! I teach singing to any age range and in a variety of styles: Classical, Contemporary/Musical Theatre. I teach either at my home in Wimbledon or at the student's home. I'm happy to travel within the London metropolitan area but will adjust the price of the lessons according to the travel costs I incur. My schedule is very flexible and the lessons are to be arranged with the student on a weekly basis. Les signes et les idées musicales qui se trouvent sur la partition, les mouvements respectifs de nos mains, les sons produits ensuite et entendus par nos oreilles forment un tout. C’est ce tout qui s’exprime comme musique, c'est-à-dire quelque chose de plus que ces éléments pris séparément. Comprendre ce rapport, c’est sentir plus nettement comment la musique nous touche et comment l’on peut toucher les autres avec la musique.

At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician.
