Guitar lessons "Live method" in Lausanne & around
Translated by Google. Click to view original.
Guitarist for 30 years, I have acquired great experience in music. The aim of this course is to learn to play with other musicians.
This is the essence of music for a musician.
This course is an opportunity to play “live”, or “live”.
Playing LIVE is not only playing in front of an audience, it's playing IN THE MOMENT.
One of the things I see most often in class: a student playing a sequence of chords, a riff or a musical motif, who makes a mistake, and stops in his tracks to replay the missed game .
This sort of thing, like leaving a blank in the passage between two chords, should not happen when you practice enough.
The whole point of playing live is to keep playing even if you make a mistake. This is how we really progress.
Playing live with another musician is:
- play respecting the rhythm
- know how to balance the sound
- listen to the other, the other's game
- develop your own game, while integrating and respecting each other's game
- improvise, alone and / or in pairs
- play in the moment, develop musical spontaneity
- play without a net, “catch up” on an error, whether it is ours or that of the other musician
- above all, one of the advantages of playing with other people is the immense PLEASURE that it provides - an incomparable feeling of satisfaction.
- the other big advantage is that we progress ten times faster! :)
A typical course will be divided into two parts:
- the LIVE part, where we will play the song (s) studied
- the more theoretical part, or learning, where we will return to what we have played as a basis for work and improvement
As a working material / tool, we will record the live sessions, which will be used to listen again, target the points to be worked on, and as a reference for the progress achieved.
In addition, the student will be able to listen and work from the recordings at home, or in his spare time.
All stages of learning are important, and the usual, more “normal” lessons are fundamental, especially for those who are starting out or who are in a stuck phase, that is to say they feel limited or do not unable to move to a higher level.
In all these cases, it is better to start with more classic courses.
I give this kind of course too, don't hesitate to contact me, I can help you better assess your level, define your goals and help you reach them.
I look forward to sharing with you my passion for the guitar!
See you soon.

About Me
Translated by Google. Click to view original.
My name is Ludo, I am 47 years old. I've been a guitarist for about 30 years, professionally for 20/25 years.A member of several groups during my career, I have done a lot of scenes, recorded in the studio, and for 11 years I have done concerts and tours with a rock band based in London, UK, of which I was the main songwriter.
I started to teach guitar 6 years ago, alongside my musical projects, and I discovered a new pleasure and a new motivation.
It has become my main activity for 5 years.
Sharing my experience, transmitting my passion for the guitar, turned out to be the natural and logical evolution in the continuity of my professional career.
Since this reconversion I have learned a lot.
From my experience as a musician, I have the theoretical knowledge necessary for the application of a complete musical education.
But in practice, faced with apprentice guitarists of all ages, levels, characters, abilities, one cannot delude himself for long without any organizational method or preparation.
In short, being a good guitarist does not guarantee being a good teacher.
Being naturally sociable, I have always liked communication, human contact, and I have always thought as a musician that it is important to know how to listen.
It is in this very intuitive way, and nevertheless armed with a solid experience of the instrument and musical knowledge, that I took the first steps as a teacher.
Since then, I have taught over fifty students, of all ages and levels.
Being passionate about music, I have always invested a lot in my lessons (from the start). My method has been refined and adapted. I especially learned to develop the pedagogical aspect, at the center of the teacher / student relationship so that the transmission is the best possible.
I saw too many young students who came dragging their feet to pick up the guitar, after stopping, because of too rigid and theoretical teaching, which had discouraged them.
My goal is to help students achieve their goals, to exceed them if possible, on a very simple basic notion: PLEASURE ...
I always tend to establish a relationship of trust and sharing with the students, so that the course is a space of motivation and pleasure.
When the practice of the guitar is no longer an ordeal but a desire, or even a need, it changes everything in the process of learning the instrument.
Having fun playing, rehearsing, looking forward to the next lesson is for me the key to working on your guitar playing and staying motivated, to move forward and really improve.
Education

° Proficiency (Master 2) English° Bac A3 letters / plastic arts
° Conservatory of music in Paris:
2 years old piano from 7 years old, 3 years old guitar at 10 years old, and 1 year old drums around 13-14 years old.
At the age of 15 I definitely chose the guitar as my main instrument.
Having grown up in a permanent musical environment, favorable to learning and practice (multi-instrumentalist father, professional musician friends) I continued my training in a self-taught way.
Experience / Qualifications
Translated by Google. Click to view original.
I started playing as a semi-pro at 17-18 years old, and became a professional musician almost 30 years ago.For 11 years (90s) I played in the London based rock band “WFK” (guitar / vocals and songwriter) with whom I have performed extensively and toured Great Britain and Europe.
Since then, I have participated in many projects and musical collaborations, in London, Paris, Morocco, and Switzerland (Dead Plants, We Free Kings, Femme Fatale, BSA, Elephant Rouge)
I had the chance in my career to meet and play with artists such as: Jacques Higelin, PJ Proby, Nino Ferrer, Mickey Finn, and Mick Taylor, ex-guitarist of the Rolling Stones.
I teach guitar for 5 years parallel to my musical projects.
The pleasure of sharing, of teaching, has become as essential to me as the pleasure I have in playing the guitar.
Hello everyone,

Doing a guitar lesson 2 meters away with a mask is not necessarily ideal!

Guitar lessons / music theory / rhythm / accompaniment / composition etc.Hello,
My name is Marco, and I invite you to pass on my passion for the guitar, and more broadly for music.
Music brings a lot. Whether it's emotions, personal satisfaction, moments of grace, whether you're a spectator or on stage, encounters and exchanges that are so interesting with other musicians...
My goal is to send you enough motivation and pleasure so that you never give up on this inexhaustible source of joy and discovery.
To achieve this, my main tool, as in music, will be listening.
Listening to you, understanding what you dream of achieving, then helping you get there, this is my method. So my experience and my knowledge will allow us to approach the styles that interest you: Songs, Pop, Rock, Folk, Fingerstyle, Blues, Jazz, Groove, Bossa nova, Samba... as much as to accompany you in your own creations .
So during our first session we will discuss the artists and guitarists who are close to our hearts. If you already know songs, you can play them for me, easily, without stress, and for the most advanced among you, it will even be an opportunity to jam.
Whether it's for you or your child, whether you're a student or a retiree, I'm interested in all profiles, because everyone can have fun learning to play the guitar.
See you soon !
Marco

My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels.

Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;)
I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example.
The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
Be sure to let me know if you have any questions and I will answer as soon as possible.
See you soon!
Richard
PS: my specified hours are a guideline, if this does not suit you, you can certainly send us a message and we will try to arrange something :)

These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of direct (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (ex: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). In this context, these videoconference sessions for which you have requested me, seem to arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). At your request, I therefore continue to offer them.
