I was recently awarded my PhD, through which I developed methodological aspects of teaching different types of public from different backgrounds. My experience to communicate to different types of audiences have been enhanced through my work as a contributing writer for the National Geographic History Magazine. Hello! My name is Inés, I am Franco-Spanish and I study mechanical engineering at EPFL (Lausanne, Switzerland). I am finishing my degree in Madrid in an exchange program with the Polytechnic University of Madrid. I have a French and Spanish double baccalaureate and a C1 level of English (Advanced Cambridge). In my school in Switzerland I was an Assistant to the Physics teacher, that is, I supported the teacher with first-year students. During this period I taught classes and helped in practical classes in solving problems and exercises. The main objective I pursue with classes is to allow the student to progress academically without losing sight of the practical and playful vision. On the one hand, in Mathematics and Physics classes my intention is to allow the student to relate the theoretical teachings to our environment. I have been able to observe in my previous experience that the teachings are better assimilated. On the other hand, in French classes, I give great importance to practicing grammar and vocabulary, but with special emphasis on comprehension and oral expression.
