Hello! I'm Andrés, and I have a degree in Classical Philology. I teach Latin and Ancient Greek at all levels, both for academic support and for those who want to learn these two languages for pleasure. I like to teach these subjects using new methodologies that make learning them more enjoyable and enjoyable for the student. I also like to complement the teaching of these languages with culture and history classes, as it's very important to understand the context in which we operate in each class. I adapt to the needs of each student. I also teach Spanish Language and Literature support classes for students in primary, secondary, and high school, as well as for those taking university entrance exams. An introduction to the basic syntactic and grammatical phenomena of the ancient Greek language. We use texts from the ancient Greek Literature (Ancient Greek History, Tragedies and Myths) as well as the Bible or Byzantine Hymnology in order to better understand the structure and way of thinking of the Greek language. The course is addressed to anyone who either has or doesn't have a knowledge of the Greek language. It is built as a personalized course, based on each student's level, motivation and learning needs.

Except for the initial lessons with complete beginners, I conduct classes primarily in Greek to help you become accustomed to the sounds of the language. About me: My name is Athanasia, which means "immortality" in Greek, but you can call me Nasia. I am a native Greek, born and raised in Athens, with a passion for foreign languages, linguistics, history, technology, writing, and the arts. I hold a BA in Pedagogy from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and have been freelancing as a private language tutor for over 10 years. History is the vector that allows us to better understand our society, the world in which we live. It is essential for general culture. The level of the course will adapt to the level of the student, from primary to university. It is also possible to adapt it in relation to an exam or competition to be taken, or to a person wishing to complete their general knowledge on a particular subject.

This 60-minute course examines the pivotal role of France's crippling public debt in the lead-up to the 1789 Revolution. We will explore how decades of costly wars left the monarchy fiscally insolvent. The course will reveal how the Crown's attempts to reform the tax system—and extend taxation to the privileged nobility and clergy—sparked a political showdown. We will analyze how the aristocracy’s refusal to sacrifice its fiscal exemptions created a constitutional deadlock, forcing the king to convene the Estates-General for the first time in over 150 years. Ultimately, this course demonstrates that the financial crisis was not merely an economic problem, but a deeply political one that catalyzed the collapse of the Ancien Régime. Also, I excelled in the Postgraduate Diploma of Business Administration at the University of NEAPOLIS in Paphos and demonstrated teaching ancient Greek philology to students from 2008 up to Present and teaching professionally in a private school in Greece. In my third year of the history faculty at the Jean Moulin Lyon III University, I plan to enroll in a master's degree in medieval history. I want to write a research paper on the French and the Mongols in the 13th century. I would like to go on to write a thesis on the theme of Mongol incursions into Japan (1274 and 1281). The sessions will aim to deepen or discover concepts about a period. I am comfortable with the era: medieval (especially from the 12th-13th century), modern (it all depends on the region and the century) as well as prehistory. I am able to establish a progression curve, as well as adapt the lessons according to the need or simply in relation to the expectations of the student. If necessary, repetitions and accentuations on knowledge can take place. Since I am not yet at the apotheosis of my studies, I will only offer these services to beginners or students (up to high school or first year of history school at the "maximum"). I am a native speaker of Greek. I graduated from a Greek high school and, later, the University of Athens where I attended courses in pedagogics, psychology, and linguistics. During our lessons, I'll help you develop your skills (oral/written, and not only). I'll also try to help you improve your pronunciation and spelling. I assign homework and after I receive it, correct it thoroughly additionally providing a lot of remarks/examples if they are necessary. I worked at a language center between 2009-2016 where I was a director of studies and taught mainly English as a foreign/second language. Since 2005, when I first started teaching Greek, I have taught children and adults on a variety of language proficiency levels, mainly individually. I constantly seek progress, meaning that I study further through reading books/articles concerning didactics/methodology and learning difficulties (chiefly dyslexia), observing other teachers as well as attending seminars (online or face-to-face). Through this course, we will learn about US & European History at the middle and high school levels. Rather than exploring history through dates and memorization, we will view history through the lenses of causation, continuity and change over time, and comparison.
