Learn to make drawings/sketches with pencil and graphite (9H to 12B). Each session will allow you to discover and practice a specific technique. Between two sessions, targeted exercises will allow you to progress in a measurable way, in small steps. In drawing, there are no miracles: it is practice, training, perseverance, which are the sources of progress. All materials will be provided to you (pencils, papers). The objective of the course is to allow the participant to realize their artistic desires. To do this, it is difficult to define a precise path: everyone has their own abilities and shortcomings, the organization of the course will be around the student. Among the different tools that we work with, we can find, among other things, anatomy, composition, perspective, color theory, the study of movement, the principles of animation... On a more technical level, I am capable and have the necessary equipment to teach both traditional and digital drawing (the same for animation). My name is Virág, and I am a Visual Development Artist and Character Designer. I have honed my skills as a 2D illustrator and visual developer, working as both a character and background designer in the Netherlands. There, I contributed to a variety of projects, including music videos, informative animations, promotional videos, and posters. Notably, I worked on animated music videos for Spinning Records and Steve Aoki's '6OKI' animated music video series. While my primary focus is on the cartoon style, I have experience in a diverse range of styles, including corporate, whiteboard animation, realistic, and children's illustration. My journey in drawing began in my childhood, with experiences at places like 'Corvin Drawing & Design School' and 'Secondary School of Visual Arts, Budapest'.
