Now, don't get me wrong, I take my job seriously. I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and a Master's degree in Music Performance, so you can rest assured that I know my stuff. I am looking forward to help aspiring piano players start with this great instrument. I aim to provide a good balance between understand how piano is played, together with explaining the musical theory behind it. This lessons are aimed to beginners and intermediate level players.

Feeling good with your body and listening to it, understanding where the sound comes from and how to produce it, learning the basics and how to read the notes and the score, learning tricks and daily exercises without the instrument to help you develop your agility and muscles, playing together duets to get closer to the chamber music world and to learn how to listen and collaborate with others. I think it's important to listen also to the student's requests and desires; if you have a tune or a piece that you would love to play we can work on it together. Folk music is also an interesting way through which we can get closer to the instrument and the music world, playing traditional dances from different countries and discovering different music languages. As every person has his own physiognomy and musculature, we will try to find together a correct and comfortable posture that better suits the student to create a connection with the instrument. Warming-up and taking care of our body is part of a musician's life (beginner, amateur or professional) and it is important to prevent injuries and muscle pain. Unfortunately this aspect is not often taken into account and for this reason I aim to transmit this value to my students.

Music has been my life since I am 7 years old. I am a professional clarinetist that has just graduated from the University of Arts in Rotterdam (Codarts). The reason why I am in this platform, is to offer clarinet and general music theory lessons in a relaxed and friendly environment to any kind of student. I am an italian bass player, I'm 25 years old and actually I am finishing the last year of my bachelor in jazz music at Codarts. If you're a beginner i will teach you the basics of the instrument and the basics of musical theory (wich is essential to be a good bass player). We will also dive into various musical genres, trying to have a complete approach to music as possible. If you already play bass and want to improve your skills or your knowledge of musical theory i will teach you some advanced techniques and focus on advanced harmony and studies for improvisation. We will also work on finding your own voice on the instrument and learning how to create original basslines

Hello! My name is Luisa. I'm from Spain and I am studying a Master's degree in classical music at Codarts. I studied the bachelor in Madrid and then I came here to do the Master last year. At the same time that I was studying I started teaching, this was a revelation for me, I love and enjoy to teach and share what I know about music. Every child is a musician an improviser and an explorer! This class will guide her/him through her/his own exploration of the music territories in order to develop creativity, listening skills, spontaneity in a safe, protected environment, free from judgment and strict music rules. This music path will build a strong and solid ground, for every kind of future music activity the child will take. This method involves singing, playing (I can provide some instruments like a guitar, little percussions, etc. for the lesson time), improvising, composing, drawing, writing and it's aimed to work in a playful way on the sense of rhythm and pitch, creativity, music-related analytic skills. The method wants to help and support the children in the discovery of the music in a personal and individual way, pinpointing out the children's needs, empowering her/his talents.

Which is why I enjoy making people improve their musical skills, I have a year of experience teaching children and I also did 6-month research for children to improve their attention span through music. With 27 years of experience as a violin teacher, artist and composer, I transmit my love of music in a creative, playful and holistic way. I have developed a method that adapts to each student according to their needs, levels and desires.
