About Me

Hello everyone!

My musical journey began when I was just four years old, starting with the piano. Later, at the age of seven, I eagerly embraced the violin, adding its enchanting melodies to my repertoire.

I achieved a professional mid-grade in both piano and violin. Fueled by my love for music, I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Codarts University of Arts. Under the guidance of teachers like Natasha Morozova and Hed Yaron Meyerson, I refined my skills and nurtured my artistic vision.

After completing my Bachelor's studies, I continued my musical exploration in Codarts' Master's program. Alongside my classical training, I've always been intrigued by the therapeutic potential of music. In 2023, I earned certification in Music Therapy, expanding my horizons and deepening my connection to the healing power of music.

In collaboration with my colleagues, I am member of the Olga Trio. Our mission is to highlight the works of women composers throughout history. Our debut performance at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras was a proud moment, affirming our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music.

Beyond classical music, I've always been drawn to exploring different genres and styles. As a member of the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023, I relished the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds, pushing the boundaries of traditional musical conventions.

In every note I play and every project I undertake, my passion for music shines through. It's a journey of exploration, growth, and discovery, and I'm excited to continue sharing my love for music with the world.

Education

I embarked on my academic journey with a Bachelor's degree from Codarts University of Arts (2018-2022), where I immersed myself in the world of artistic expression, refining my skills and expanding my knowledge base. Eager to deepen my understanding and expertise, I pursued a Master's degree at Codarts University of Arts (2022-2024), where I delved into advanced concepts and techniques within my chosen field.
Seeking to broaden my horizons and explore the therapeutic potential of music, I further enriched my education with a University Certification in Music Therapy from Universidad Antonio de Nebrija (2023). This interdisciplinary course equipped me with valuable insights into the healing power of music and its applications in therapy. Through these educational experiences, I have cultivated a comprehensive understanding of the arts and its intersections with diverse disciplines, preparing me to make meaningful contributions in both artistic and therapeutic contexts.

Experience / Qualifications

Having accumulated extensive experience in chamber music and diverse musical styles, I now channel my focus and energy into my role within the Olga Trio. Alongside my talented colleagues, our dedication lies in showcasing the often overlooked works of women composers across epochs. Our debut at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras stands as a testament to our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music. While my past ventures have allowed me to explore various musical realms and collaborate widely, my current dedication to the Olga Trio signifies a deepened focus and alignment with our mission. Embracing this newfound direction, I am wholeheartedly dedicated to furthering our collective vision and making meaningful contributions to the musical landscape.
Beyond classical realms, I've ventured into exploring various genres and styles. Joining the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023 was an enriching experience, allowing me to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds and push the boundaries of traditional musical conventions. These experiences have shaped my musical journey, fueling my passion for inclusivity and innovation in the realm of music.
With 8 years of teaching experience across different proficiency levels, I bring a wealth of pedagogical insight to my musical endeavors. From guiding beginners to mentoring advanced students, I am committed to fostering musical growth and passion while contributing actively to the vibrant musical community.

Piano lessons for reading sheet music, learning favorite pieces, improvising and more.
- In a very calm and friendly environment, the classes are organized and planned according to the students' goals/wishes. As someone who was classically trained from age 6 to 18, I believe this is very important for the students well being. - If you want to improve your piano technique while also enjoying the lesson and having a sense of improvement every week, then these lessons are for you. - My classes are for everyone that wants t play anything on the piano. Be it jazz, classical, pop, etc... Also, as a composer and pianist, I will give you a different point of view from other piano teachers. The lessons' contents will vary from student to student but may contain: - Piano technique - Music theory; - Ear training; - Popular/jazz/classical repertoire - Musical interpretation - Reading sheet music I am not able to give the lessons in Dutch, yet.

Flavia
Cello lessons in Dutch, Spanish or English (live or online)
Do you want to work on classical repertoire? Do you want to learn songs from around the world or invent your own? do you want to play happy birthday to your best friend with a Cello? Let's explore together this beautiful instrument with pieces that you like, finding different ways to play one thing, becoming actors on the stage of music... Let's create games to develop creativity and technique, those that will help you to personalize your way of playing . With music, we learn much more than just playing pieces. I always thought about how the ancient Greeks introduced Music as an essential subject in school. Music was to heal, to entertain, to get to know yourself more. I'm just finished my studies in the University of Arts of Codarts (Rotterdam) and I can't deny I will always keep learning after finishing my degree. I'm looking forward to sharing some knowledge and to hear what you already know. What can I offer? Styles that we can work on: Classical, Folk, Jazz, Pop music. Languages that we can speak in the lesson: Dutch, English, Catalan or/and Spanish Skills that we can work on: basic techniques, jazz and folk techniques, play the cello while singing, percussion on the cello. How do I work? Each class will be individually prepared, in order to have the student goals in mind. In our first lesson we can get to know each other and then we will figure out what do you want and how can I help you. For BEGINNERS I teach the bow, finger positions and other basics with easy songs (with kids I add games to make it more entreating). Such as relating painting with playing, dancing with playing or literature with playing. For AVERAGE LEVEL we explore, with already some technique, how to play songs, finding a good sound and feel at ease with the instrument. Additional Activities: Once a month I plan a rehearsal with pianist to work on some repertoire of cello and piano. Meetings with other students are also arranged to play duos together. It's very necessary to play with people and not get stuck in our own individual studies! Do you have doubts or need more information? Don't hesitate to write me a message!

Have fun by learning how to play the clarinet and discovering how the music works!
Do you want to have fun learning how to play the most beautiful instrument in the world or improve your skills with it? I'd be delighted to do it with you! I'm a classical clarinetist, I have two masters (recently graduated at Codarts) and different experience in orchestra, chamber music and teaching! My goal as a teacher is to stimulate the student to study in order to be at the disposal of music and not a passive player as can happen many times when you undertake a new study. That is why I like to play with my students and organize little private concerts and try-out. Concerning the music theory lessons, I am not going to bore you with long and incomprehensible explanations! We will study it in a fun and effective way! I've been studying music since I'm five years old and I started with the Kodaly method that made me approach music in a very natural way! I hope to see you soon!
