Hi, I'm Nikos, a guitar teacher with over 12 years of experience and a Master's degree in classical guitar performance from the Conservatory of Brussels. I have taught over 100 students, providing individualized lessons and personalized attention to every one of them. Playing the guitar offers a wealth of benefits for personal growth, including improved memory and concentration, enhanced cognitive abilities, and a stress-free outlet for self-expression.

I suggest you improve your saxophone and music practice by focusing on learning melody by ear and developing improvisation. As for instrumental technique, I can teach you how to place your fingers properly to develop your virtuosity, to have a tonic air column and a good embouchure to develop your sound and to work on articulation to improve your phrasing. All this is acquired little by little by playing specific exercises and solos, pieces or saxophone studies. Through learning the instrument I also suggest you develop your musical qualities which are essential to progress and have fun playing. By learning and memorizing melodies or solos by ear, you develop your ear, your sense of rhythm and your memory. Free improvisation allows you to develop your inner singing and your musical personality. Finally, working with a metronome or directly on recordings will help you improve your rhythmic ear. All this is aimed at allowing the greatest possible freedom with one's instrument as well as the development of a personal aesthetic. I started learning the saxophone at the conservatory 7 years ago. I started with jazz then curiosity pushed me to study classical saxophone for 3 years before specializing in tenor and jazz. I had many saxophone teachers (Eric Barret, Pascal Gaubert, Sylvain Rifflet, Sylvain Cathala...) and today I have a bachelor's degree at the Royal Conservatory with Fabrice Alleman and Manu Hermia. I have played the saxophone in many different contexts, often in jazz in small groups or in a Big Band, in classical solo or in a quartet and also with pop groups on stage or in the studio. I have always loved passing on what I have learned, so I have been teaching beginners/amateurs for 4 years, always with the aim of developing the pleasure of playing and regularity of practice.

I focus on giving saxophone lessons to people with a solid or basic foundation who wants to improve or start improvising. This course is especially for those who feel stagnant in improving their music skills. I will actively analyse your areas for improvement and provide personal guidance and methods. I am very aware that each person thinks differently while improvising: personal exercises are given, depending on your needs. Applied music theory lessons are a support of this class. I integrate chord theory into practical saxophone lessons, making a key connection between ear and theory. I started playing classical saxophone, and I am currently a Jazz saxophone student at the conservatory of Brussels. Switching to Jazz made me analyse my own behaviour in improvising, which I find a crucial step in development. Feel free to reach out! A seasoned and passionate musician since the age of 15, I gave my first lessons more than 10 years ago. I am an excellent pedagogue, and I adapt to the level of the student, whether in terms of technical mastery of the instrument, ability to read notes (or tablature), as well as understanding music theory and of the theory. I put myself at the service of the student, his level and his tastes and musical projects. I'm a musician from the US working and traveling in Belgium. I was a music instructor for the last three years in the states. I have a ton of experience working with very young beginners as well as middle schoolers and high schoolers.

I trained as a classical guitar at the conservatory. It is a teaching method that could be criticized a lot, but it allows you to become a versatile and quickly adaptable musician. This is how I would define my courses: customizable. What is most important, in my opinion, is the student-teacher dialogue, which allows not only that the courses meet the desires of the student but also to establish a relationship of trust. I can share as much knowledge in classical music (thanks to many scores accumulated as I studied at the conservatory) as knowledge in current music if you are more connected (singing and guitar accompaniment). I have many notions of music theory, if that's what interests you. We can even do ukulele if that's your thing.

Holder of two Masters from the Conservatory of Mons, I offer my lessons to new students curious to discover the art of this instrument or to the most seasoned who wish to perfect their technique. I teach music theory full-time in two Brussels academies and have been giving piano lessons on my own for several years. My schedule requires me to give my piano lessons before 3 p.m. because I work afterwards. The development of my students is my priority, which is why I easily adapt to different desires and offer great flexibility in terms of the programs studied. Currently at the end of violin Master in the class of Véronique Bogaerts as well as in pedagogical aggregation at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I dispense my knowledge. I regularly had the opportunity to teach in Spain (native country) but also in Belgium. I am currently a violin teacher at St-Michel de Montgomery School. Of a very friendly and listening nature I have very good contact with children but also adults! During my classes, we will have the opportunity to see or review the technical points of the instrument by stimulating your creativity. Music theory, a keystone of music will also be approached in a fun way in a calm and relaxed environment.

Student of 20, I have always been immersed in the world of music. I did 8 years of classical piano at the academy of Saint-Gilles and since my 15 years I give classes to children wanting to progress outside the academy or just want to have a first approach to the piano. Not having done the conservatory, I give lessons to people being in piano formation, the first 5 academic years. I am used to working with children, so I can give piano lessons to children from 5 years (under 5 years, except particularly motivated child, I do not think that particular lessons of instrument welcome, a collective course of musical initiation seems to me more interesting) I can also offer my help for music theory classes.
