Trusted teacher: Studied jazz musician gives saxophone lessons, focused on the joy of making music. You decide where to go. I'm on stage full-time. I am currently involved in a large number of projects with various musical styles. My references include an appearance on the Dutch television station L1mburg TV, as well as a concert on the public radio program NPO Jazz in the Netherlands, as well as appearances at various jazz festivals, including North Sea Jazz Rotterdam, JazzOut Limburg and the Göttingen Jazz Festival. Music has accompanied me since early childhood. I started playing the flute when I was five and the saxophone when I was nine. After gaining a lot of experience in big bands, funk/soul bands, rock bands and other projects, my interests culminated in studying jazz and saxophone at the Maastricht Conservatory, which I successfully completed in 2021. About the lesson: It's not just about jazz. You determine the style of music. Whether pop, funk or soul, I'm open to everything. Reflection is the be-all and end-all. I'll teach you music theory and everything to do with sax. The feel and the fun of making music is always the focus. You decide which direction we take. If desired, improvisation plays a major role. The course is suitable for all ages and levels. I take the time to adapt to you and to fulfill your wishes e.g. music style, direction etc.. The lessons take place in my own studio, at your home or online via webcam. No saxophone or previous knowledge necessary.

Trusted teacher: Hi! I'm an experienced clarinettist and teacher with a first-class honours degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where I won the college's concerto and chamber music competitions. I also achieved A* and A grades in GCSE and A-Level Music respectively. - I have recently started my master's degree as a dual scholar at the Royal College of Music in London. - I have a full enhanced DBS certificate which can be supplied upon request. - I teach Mon-Wed, often afternoons/evenings but am fairly flexible (and ask the same of my students due to my hectic schedule!) - I am a relaxed, experienced, enthusiastic and patient teacher and try to make each lesson different, fun and enjoyable! -I would be happy to help you to learn music as a complete beginner or strengthen your abilities as an advanced player as a practice partner or a primary tutor. - I like to focus on building a solid foundation of playing with my students, which will help them excel in their musical lives. - I am a heavy believer that constant reassurance and appraisal is crucial in the early stages of learning any instrument, alongside fun and memorable exercises and games. - I have experience teaching to school-age children through outreach visits in Cardiff and London, alongside volunteering at RWCMD juniors department and working with RCM Sparks. - I love teaching and sharing my passion for music. I believe if you have the right motivation, age does not matter at all - it's never too late to learn! - I am able to teach through ABRSM grades and other kinds of qualifications or if you're just wanting to do it for fun! I am also able to teach music theory in tandem or as a primary tutor. - I teach in RCM in South Kensington or at my flat in Shepherds Bush if necessary. I also offer online lessons at a reduced rate. - Lessons can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Don’t hesitate to message me about any queries, look forward to meeting you! Isaac :) About Isaac: Originally from a small village in Northamptonshire, Isaac is a Clarinettist currently based in London. Isaac has performed recently as guest principal, sub-principal and bass clarinet with London Mozart Players, Neville Holt Opera, English Symphony Orchestra, London Firebird Orchestra and UK Tours with The Music Agency. He has performed in concerts and masterclasses under the conductors such as Sir Andrew Davis, Maxim Vengerov, Hannu Lintu, Jac van Steen, George Jackson and Leif Segerstam. Isaac graduated first-class honours from RWCMD in 2021 under the tutelage of the previous and current heads of woodwind Nick Carpenter and Rob Plane, respectively. Alongside winning the college Concerto Competition, Isaac also won the RWCMD Woodwind + Chamber Music Prize and auditions for side-by-side schemes with BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Welsh National Opera. Isaac is currently furthering his studies with a Masters in Performance at the Royal College of Music, London, studying with Barnaby Robson, Richard Hosford and Tim Lines. He is the gracious recipient of scholarships from the HR Taylor Charitable Trust and Charlotte Fraser Foundation. He is also the 2022/23 holder of the Countess of Munster Trust Neil Black Award. Estela
Estella is a very positive, always happy teacher. Even though my son has been having on-line lessons with her, we can always feel her positive attitude during the lessons. She is very patient, gives lots of important tips and feedback, which has been helping him to guide his learning, improving in every aspect of it. We can see how much she care about the whole learning experience. It’s been very useful to expend his time while at home doing the lessons. He has been practicing more and has been feeling more motivated since he started the lessons with her. We definitely recommend her as a Saxophone teacher!
