Hi my name is Osian and I’m a cellist from South Wales. I’ve taught children of many ages and standards and I really feel privileged to be a part of someone’s musical and personal development. Music lessons can be a way of reaching the concert platform or it could be a way of expressing yourself and being creative, wether it’s a career path or not. I grew up playing and singing where my first priority was to fall in love with music and learn to perform it to the best standard that I could do and that’s what I’d like to encourage my students to aim for too. I’m a BMus Hons Scholar from The Royal Academy of Music and I’m not studying at a masters lever at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

I always thought about how the ancient Greeks introduced Music as an essential subject in school. Music was to heal, to entertain, to get to know yourself more. I'm just finished my studies in the University of Arts of Codarts (Rotterdam) and I can't deny I will always keep learning after finishing my degree. I'm looking forward to sharing some knowledge and to hear what you already know. What can I offer? Styles that we can work on: Classical, Folk, Jazz, Pop music. Languages that we can speak in the lesson: Dutch, English, Catalan or/and Spanish Skills that we can work on: basic techniques, jazz and folk techniques, play the cello while singing, percussion on the cello. How do I work? Each class will be individually prepared, in order to have the student goals in mind. In our first lesson we can get to know each other and then we will figure out what do you want and how can I help you. For BEGINNERS I teach the bow, finger positions and other basics with easy songs (with kids I add games to make it more entreating). Such as relating painting with playing, dancing with playing or literature with playing. For AVERAGE LEVEL we explore, with already some technique, how to play songs, finding a good sound and feel at ease with the instrument. Additional Activities: Once a month I plan a rehearsal with pianist to work on some repertoire of cello and piano. Meetings with other students are also arranged to play duos together. Learn to improvise, jam and create your own music. I am a cellist, composer and improviser specialising in working with string players to unlock and devlop creative potential. I will work with you to deveop a bespoke course to help you develop skills in improvisation. Areas covered: Jazz improvisation - Blues, Standards, Harmony, Bass Lines, Finding Chords, Building and Creating Solos, Elarnig repertoire. Baroque Imrpovisation - Ground Bass, Partimento realisation and developing cadenzas for classical repertoire Free/Folk and other styles - we can explore any styles of improvisation, and discuss how to develop your skills. I am a professor of Imrpovisation at the Royal Colege of Music in London, and a composer and performer of my own music internationally.

Cello and/or Music theory lesson for children, adolescent and adult of any level, from beginner to advanced level. The lesson will be in English or in French. The most important things to me is to combined pleasure, hard working and sharing. I will try to understand what my student is looking for during the lessons and find the best méthodologie to achieve his wish while improving the playing. Hello My name is Francisco, I come from Spain and I am currently studying the 2nd year Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam I have already experience teaching. I have tought previuously in Spain for 3 years to children, but I would also teach adult student.

I am Zhanshu, a cellist from China with extensive experience in cello playing and music education. I previously obtained my Postgraduate Diploma at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK and then completed my Master's degree at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Germany. I currently teach at several music schools and have experience teaching students of all ages and ability levels. Through my many years of teaching practice, I have gained valuable experience and can develop an individually tailored curriculum for each student. I offer flexible lesson times, which can be booked in different lengths (30, 45, 60, 90 minutes). I believe that every student has a unique musical potential, so I always adapt my lessons to the needs and goals of my students to help them progress in both technique and musical expression.

My aim is to provide an easily accessible, yet fun, and rewarding experience for anyone that is interested or curious about learning the cello. I hope to give exciting and suitably challenging lessons which will create and sustain motivation and determination. Hello everyone, I'm Enrico and I come from Italy. Right now I am in Utrecht where I am doing a master's degree in cello under the guidance of Timora Rosler. During my years of studies I always had the possibility to teach music, in fact while I was doing my Bachelor in Italy at the Conservatory of Turin, I taught cello and music theory in a private music school called "Isla de Musiqueros", in this school I had the opportunity to teach people of all ages, including children under 4 years old. When I moved to the Netherlands little by little I started to find students and many many concerts. I believe that playing is the best way to have fun and express your emotions, the work I want to do is work on tensions and try to help you melt away while playing, in this way you can have more sound and feel more free. Technique is also very important in the everyday life of a musician, together we can see the best exercises for you, to help you improve and have more confidence with the instrument.

Hello! My name is Khrystyna. I am a student from Ukraine.I finishes my Bachelor degree in Conservatory of Amsterdam. I can help and teach you to play the cello. It will be very interesting to open the musical world with you if you are a beginner. As well as if you would like to continue studying or have any problems with this. I already had experience of teaching. We have a huge diversity of cello repertoire to work with. But we also can take some specific piece. It depends on your wishes and goals. My goal is to make your studying interesting, resultative and easy.

I teach my students how to play the cello and use it to express their inner voice. I'm currently doing my master's at Luzern Hoschule and I have already taught privately for 5 years and was also a professor at a music academy. I always try to pick the artistic side of my students and give them the tools to express themselves. Every class will be adapting to the student's struggles and evolution. My student's ages go from early age to adult and elderly.
