English class for children from the ages 4 to 17. The class will be focused on 3 different aspects such as speaking, writing, and listening. As a tutor, I will do my best to make the lesson fun and engaging, so students will have more interest to learn the language. I speak Danish fluently so if there is something that the student does not understand, it can be explained in Danish as well for better comprehension. Materials for the lesson will be provided by the tutor.

I was a foreign correspondent for the British and American press in the Middle East for ten years, and taught journalism skills classes out there. Nowadays, I'm completing my legal training for the English Bar and have studied International Human Rights Law for my Master's degree back at Oxford. I'm Aimee and I am a student at Københavns Universitet studying English Literature and Scandinavian Studies. Prior to moving to Copenhagen I was an English tutor for four years, teaching students both in and out of school. I typically tutor students from folkeskole to Gymnasium level and have taught those with additional needs such as dyslexia and autism and respect that some children need a little extra help with certain subjects. I recognise that different students learn in different ways and so I am able to tailor my sessions to their learning style. I am very successful with my tutoring and have helped pupils raise their grades from below a pass to top grades. I am enthusiastic and driven which I feel is very important especially as, from experience, when someone struggles academically they tend to distance themselves from that certain subject. By having a positive and passionate tutor alongside their revision, I've found that students tend to warm to the subject after only a few weeks even if they still feel they struggle. I always used to help kids from elementary school to get ready for tests in most subjects. My way of teaching is popularizing the topic and explain in easy and understandable manners.
