I am Thijs (28), an experienced drummer and musician, with a wide range of musical interests. Studying jazz drums under the wings of Lander Gyselinck at the KASK/Conservatorium in Ghent. I also took master classes and lessons from/with Joey Baron (US), Kendrick Scott (US), Corey Fonville (US) and Stéphane Galland (BE). I am also active in various bands/groups. My lessons, depending on the level, focus on both the fundamental building blocks of drumming and music as a whole. These building blocks together with the student's interests form the curriculum, so that it meets the student's wishes as best as possible. I also teach music theory/music theory. Some aspects of this are also offered during drum lessons. In the end, it's you who will enjoy it the most, so that's what I'm focusing on! I am a professional flutist with over 5 years of experience in teaching. I have worked with people aged 5 to 75 and taught in five different languages: English, German, Ukrainian, Polish, and French. I hold a pedagogical qualification from the Academy of Music in Krakow, where I obtained a Master's degree with distinction in flute performance. Recently, I graduated from the Conservatoire Royal de Liège, where I earned a specialized Master's degree in flute. With my help, my students have become first prize winners in competitions like the renowned "Jugend musiziert" in Germany. They have also prepared for playing in youth orchestras such as Das Bayerische Landesjugendorchester or worked on repertoire for different kinds of concerts. As a teacher, I am very flexible and always strive to adapt to the needs of my students. I am passionate about the flute and music in general, and I greatly enjoy sharing my knowledge with others.

I am a Belgian harpist (°1992) graduated from the conservatory of Antwerp, where I also followed the Alexander Technique. I gained experience in teaching at Art Academy De Poel (Ghent), Einstein Atheneum (Oostakker) and through private lessons. I like to pay a lot of attention to a good, relaxed posture and technique. This prevents complaints in the long term and also benefits a beautiful sound. Passionate pupils and students of all levels are welcome to explore the instrument, repertoire and music in general together. Improvisation and playing music by ear can also be part of the lesson if interested.
