Dance Classes! Street Dance lessons and more, suitable for all abilities.

Dance is more than just a hobby, it is a passion. Dance can consist of many different styles and I would love the opportunity to teach a variety of styles to you. Styles that I offer lessons in include:
-- Hip Hop basics (including foundation moves and routines)
- Commercial Dance (music video style routines)
- Heels (more feminine routines 16+)
- Lite Feet (the newest style of street dance, including fast, footwork in intricate steps)
- Musical Theatre (dance and create routines to musical theatre based songs)
- Freestyle (this style will help to give you a sense of freedom when dancing, freestyle can be whatever you want)
- Dance fitness (incorporating a fitness based warmup that you can use towards your fitness journeys )
I have worked in this industry, since I was 14, when I was 16, I went to college and did a Level 3 Musical Theatre diploma and achieved a distinction. After this, I went to drama school for three years and gained a First Class BA honours degree in performing and preparation arts. Since all this training, I have been teaching street dance to all ages from 5-21 and then also taking adult classes. I am so passionate about dancing and performing and would love to share this with you online.

You will need:
- laptop with a good camera so I can help with the dance moves
- laptop with good volume so you can hear the music as you dance
- a good space at home to move around (nothing that could be knocked over or broken.)
- suitable clothing for dance movement
-If you would like to visit me in the studio, there will be a booking charge for the room which will need to be transferred before the day of the session.

About Me

My name is Kaitlyn, I am a 24-year-old dancer from Redditch. I've been dancing since the age of 3 I have never looked back since. When I started dancing, I was doing styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, and Irish dancing. When I turn 16, I went to college and did a two-year musical theatre diploma and achieved a distinction grade. After this, I knew I wanted to train even more in this industry, so I went to drama school for three years and gained a First Class BA Honours degree in Performing and Production arts (dance). During the time I was studying, and after I had completed my degree, I have been teaching at a dance Academy in Redditch. I teach children from the age of five all the way up to adults, and I've also had the opportunity to dance with some incredible people. I have recently danced for and choreographed for; Lemar, Peter Andre, BBC Commonwealth Games opening ceremony and KidzBop. I have had some amazing experiences during my time as a dancer and would love the opportunity to teach other people to be passionate about dance.
