Hi, my name is Alison! I am offering English tutorial courses for school students working on English exams, and adults interested in practising English conversations. For students: I myself have taken many English tests, including TOEFL and IETLS (8.5/9). I am happy to help you if you are applying for Universities abroad, preparing for English tests, or college entrance exam. For adult learners: I obtained my CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), accredited by Cambridge English, in 2021. Hello, I'm an Italian high school teacher and a published writer. I have studied Literature and languages in Italy, UK and France and I have a long experience in tutoring students. I adapt my classes depending upon the specific needs of my students, depending on their knowledge and goals. I generally dedicate part of the class to teach grammar in an interactive way, following a book and proposing exercise I create myself to the students. Then I dedicate part of the class to the conversation, so that listening and speaking skills of the student can improve. If the student is at an intermediate or advanced level, I give them more insight about the evolution of Italian language, making reference to Latin and to Italian literature. To make the class more interesting, I often talk about Italian culture related to language.
