Because you are looking left and right for information, advice and books to read but you are getting scattered. You constantly watch chess videos on the Internet which are entertaining but it is too passive an activity which does not really make you study chess in depth. Then, you will play online games at too fast a pace while you do not master the main general principles. You thus develop bad reflexes because you constantly repeat the same mistakes without even realizing it, which causes your level to quickly stagnate. Then, you make a game report which tells you that you played with 80% accuracy but nevertheless you lost and you do not necessarily understand the main reasons. And finally, you watch the game with an analysis module which offers you good moves but does not provide you with the explanations necessary to fully understand them. Some teachers also offer group lessons with a monthly subscription which can help you progress slightly, but what you need is a truly personalized lesson. I haven't taught online yet, but I don't think that's a big deal. I'm patient, friendly, and good at adapting to different situations. While I may not possess a formal online coaching background, I confidently assert that this is of minimal consequence. I had my first class with Dmytro and I really enjoyed it. He takes his classes very seriously (he was very punctual, he had indicated to me in advance the apps/tools needed for the class, he was asking if I have questions, he replied very quickly to my messages before the class...). Also, he was very patient with me (I have a low level in chess...). I liked a lot that he was not just explaining "book" theory of chess, but also the practical tricks. I will book a second class. 100% recommended :)

Prashil

I feel really lucky to have found Prashil as my son't chess teacher. I was a bit sceptical and thought it will take some time to find the right match but I proved wrong. My son loves the classes with Prashil and he even wants to have more classes than what I planned. Prashil is very nice, kind, fun, patient, encouraging, respectful, responsive, flexible and knows the game. I just really like having him as a teacher.
