I do this through a variety of activities to help you build your skills; including role-playing games (based on real-life situations), Q&A's and games. The goal is to keep you talking! The lessons are mainly given in English, so you can learn and practice English as much as possible during the lesson. Don't worry about making mistakes; By making mistakes and learning from them, you even speak better. Repetition is an important part of my lessons. I often go back to check if you remember what has progressed in previous lessons. I also offer classes aimed at preparing for international English exams such as the IELTS and TOEFL. Before we meet for our lessons, I want to know your reasons for learning English. If you already have some knowledge of English, I will determine your exact level. Once I know your needs, interests and level, I can select the right materials and design the right course for you. We can work with a textbook (plus extra material) or with my own teaching materials. I use videos, slides, worksheets and other teaching materials. If you like, I can also email you exercises and resources so you can continue learning independently. If in doubt, you can always reach me via WhatsApp email. I've had different Spanish teachers but Tanya is by far the best for several reasons: - Tanya makes a personal plan together with me which fits perfectly with my learning goals. So no unnecessary grammar but only things whichs helps me with my reason why I approached her - She developed her own personal learning style which helps me making huge steps in a short time - Tanya shows she's well prepared and the work we do and the homework I get is always in extend of the things I want to learn - Besides that she's always happy and a nice person to chat with Quick sumarry: if you want to learn Spanish in a good/fast way with a teacher who is always happy, I would highly recommend Tanya :)

I recently enrolled my daughter (Dutch native) in English lessons with this teacher and I must say, the experience has been fantastic. My daughter has learned so much in the past few weeks and it's all thanks to the teacher's fun and engaging approach to teaching. The lessons are always interactive and my daughter loves them. She looks forward to her English class every week and I can see a noticeable improvement in her language skills. The teacher has a talent for making the lessons enjoyable and my daughter has a great time while learning. Russian language from Beginner to Advanced Online and Offline (Amsterdam)

In terms of vocabulary, I had a good foundation through Duolingo. Decided to take one-to-one lessons with Palina to also improve grammar and listening and speaking skills. Now at lesson 4 and very happy with my choice :). After saying hello (in Russian of course) the lesson starts with a listening or speaking practice, followed by a short repetition of the grammar rule of the previous lesson and the introduction of a new grammar rule. Keep in mind, however, that the structure of lessons may depend on your level of Russian.
